Palin Responds to Critics

Sarah Palin, responding to questions on Glenn Beck's  program, made a gaffe by mistakenly saying North instead of South when responding to a question on the Korean Peninsula.  Of course the MSM and the liberal nut blogs were afire with snarky comments questioning her smarts and foreign affairs knowledge.

My response is simple, they are jealous.  When Barack Obama said there were 57 states, nary a word from from the "smart ones".  Well, Palin has issued a response and it is priceless.

"But now Palin has responded with a brilliant Facebook post that eviscerates the MSM hypocrisy in play.
My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…"

What a hoot, the MSM and the left wingnut loon blogosphere are bested again by the lady from Wasilla!

  1. What with the weather-related inconveniences of the week I was unaware of this story and thank you for posting it, Todd. Anything that demonstrates the main stream media continuing its role as toady for the president can only be good. Like many, I am not certain that Palin can be my choice for POTUS but she certainly plays the game as well as anybody and occasionally generates a smile and provides a glimmer of hope for this country and its so-called leadership.

  2. Palin at least has a sense of humor. She 9s probably as qualified as Obama but it is really hard to boot an incumbent. I just like that she has finally giving back to the media their own crap.
