HERE is the Dallas Morning News article and a video compilation from citizens cameras of the attack. There is profanity on one of the videos. Is this the beginning of the demise of order in our country? Maybe. This seems to be part of the playbook of the people who love anarchy.
Everyday the police of America go out to do their jobs protecting the citizens. It is a job that in my opinion keeps the fabric of our country from ripping apart into chaos. We ask these men and women to stand between those that would do us harm and us. Many lose their lives doing the job. Most are reliable, follow the law and the rules they were trained to impart on arrests and interactions with civilians. Now we see the police under attack from mostly liberals and inner city minorities.
Of course there are always exceptions to the normal behavior we expect from our police. What is now happening though is the few bad apples are pounced upon by a lazy liberal anti-police media (there are a few exceptions) and those bad examples are portrayed as "all police". People with a brain (that excludes most media reporters) know that sometimes bad things happen in the instant moments a policeman has to make a decision about a suspect. If the policeman is wrong, and this is not too often regarding the use of deadly force, then there is consequences for the cop. The cop who killed the fellow running away in South Carolina is now in jail for murder for instance.
I watch a lot of news and read a lot of news. When I see this frenzy by the press about a "white cop" shooting a young black man I can only shake my head. Somehow after all is said and done and the investigation is complete, the press is usually wrong about the why and what took place. But the damage they cause is already done. The media has what I call a "template" they use and it is embedded in the heads of liberal reporters for the most part. No matter that the facts disprove the template of cops killing blacks in droves. So the anarchists and race hustlers get their fodder and run with it. One only needs to read the anarchists handbooks and other screeds like Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" to see why taking down the cops is the first step towards victory for the "evil" in our society.
I watched a panel last night on CSPAN dealing with this issue. It was in a large hall and many attended. The panel had the Washington DC Police Union representative (also a retired Marine and street cop and black), as well as two MSNBC dopey anchors, a black Rutgers Professor, a black woman, a Baltimore Councilman, also black and a white woman Judge from a Court of Appeals in New York. It was very interesting to hear the black DC cop defend against the misinformation the rest of the panel was tossing out. Of course they were trying to make it all "racial", white on black, but he would have none of it.
The white liberal "Judge" in my view was spouting so much propaganda about race and how terrible "stop, question and frisk" are along with some other anti-police rhetoric, that I believe she should resign from the bench. Based on her views, there is no way she could be a dispassionate judge. But she is a liberal and I am sure she will never be held to task for her biased views. If a conservative Judge said the things she said (from the other direction of course) they would run that Judge out of town. The Baltimore Councilman had every excuse for the riots and of course threw his police department under the bus.
The Rutgers Professor was totally biased against whites and how she could be a teacher is beyond me. My guess is her students come out of her classes hating the police and white folks. The two MSNBC buffoons, both anchors apparently, were police haters and though white, hated their own race. The only person who made sense was the black cop from DC! He was dispassionate and did not fall for the racial rhetoric and blame game the rest of the panel were dishing out. Ironically, he said "stop and frisk" was implemented in DC in 1972 and was still in use there!
This dialog about white cops and young black men fosters hate. Though the facts are against the rhetoric spewed about the subject it only seems to fuel more problems. We see attempts to murder cops and sometimes the nuts succeed. The two officers assassinated in New York City are a prime example. The man who did the act was from Baltimore! He was a black man. The story was not beaten into the minds of America. It did not fit the "template", of the media.
So now we see an attack on the Dallas Police Headquarters. With automatic weapons and a bomb. My guess is this person probably had a grudge against the police and was spurred on by the press reporting bogus facts about the police. There are always "copycats" out there of even the most heinous crimes. But when a person feels "justified" in murdering others, as we saw in the old USSR and Germany last century,. then society and civilization are on their way to the trash heap.
Policemen have thousands of rules in their interaction with civilians. Sometimes the emotions of a cop get the best of them and they do stupid things. We as a society punish that when it is exposed. That is the way we have to deal with those grievances, through the legal system. Not through anarchy. So reach out and thank a policeman today. Don't buy into the "template" of the mass media regarding police shooting young black men.
Very interesting Todd. Especially what the black policeman said. All this race and class hatred being stirred up is right out of the old Russian communist handbook. Never thought it would happen here...but of course it's a good example of how mass education works. Speaking of education, the Clinton Cash book reveals how tangled big corporations have become. Wonder if it's true that because of Bill and Hillary's global government corporate connections Russia now practically owns the Uranium mining. Doesn't say much about the honest reporting by government and the media. BMW
ReplyDeleteVery true. Thee Clintons are bought and paid for and it is by people and governments that don't really care for our country.
DeleteSCOOP! I caught The Union in another typo! Am I just too much? Who else would spend all of their free time scanning the paper that fired them looking for insignificant typos and punctuation errors? I amaze myself! No wonder I have so many followers on my amazing blog! Everybody loves me! Just ask me! I am the best, smartest, unemployed wannabe journalist I know! Jon, Annie, Windy, etc.
ReplyDeleteYou are a number of people. I applaud your brain being able to keep track. How was Boston Jonnie?
DeleteBoston was great...err...Cedar Ridge is hot! If you think it is difficult for you to keep track of all of these personalities, try being me. I used to be able to keep track by counting my toes, but I haven't seen them for quite a while now! Thanks for calling me Jonnie Tod! It is nice to pretend being a man for a change. Annie, Windy, Gloria, it really put a stress on my male ego to pretend being women all of the time! Although I do have these nice boobs! Maybe Caitlyn has an idea...LOL! Jon the Man. I think.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I see you are back from Bean Town and already proof reading the local paper. I see the Truckee Troll Steve Frisch, your "bosom" buddy is dissing the west side of the county. He sure is a putz.
DeleteFrisch does what I tell him. He is just not smart enough to have some sock puppets. I used to get pounded when I posted as Jeffy. Now as Jon, I can post like a regular ding bat.
