Hillary Clinton is the past, let's work for the future. Come on Media, be fair to the young guys!

America can do better.  I am still an optimist about our country but it is getting harder to be that way every day.  America has always been a forward looking country with a little bump every once in a while.  For my tastes, we need some younger people in charge.  Hell, we boomers are forcing them to pay for our largess so in my opinion they should be given more to say about things.  The Presidential race coming up is great opportunity for we oldies to turn things over to the young whipper-snappers.

We have been subjected to Clinton for years.  She is like a tick you pick up on a hike and can't get it out and off your body.  My goodness, can't America see how vacuous this woman is?  I sure hope so.  Recently the SNL did a skit where she was exposed for that vacuous mind.  It was a hoot!  I am sad for the democrat party (well maybe not so much) for their stable of candidates for the highest office.  Oops, well, one candidate.  Didn't we learn not to put all our eggs in one basket?  But the Clinton candidacy is theirs and they will be living and dying with it politically speaking.

The advantage Clinton has though is immense regarding the media exposure.  It could also backfire on her (hope springs) .  The "main stream media" is bound and determined to support her just as those biased jerks did with Obama.  In his case they were slobbering fools but they did their jobs.  (their noses are still implanted in his butt).  They never told the American people all about Obama to this day.  Fortunately Clinton is a well known candidate.

We all lived through the nineties listening to the premier wordsmith of the day, her hubby Bill.  We got to hear from him everyday for eight years.  He and Hillary were great at parsing words and sentences and giving new definitions for them.  What I learned is these two people are really odd.  Bill has a sexual problem and apparently Hillary just went along.  She actually defensed him each time he was caught.  The feminist community though never did their usual destruction on either one since they were for abortion.  I always knew the feminists were a crock and all that Clinton Presidency they proved it to America.

Clinton needs to bow out.  She has old ideas and failed policies and most Americans know it.  My how amazing it is the media even told us how she ate a chicken burrito the other day.  Apparently Bloomberg News found out the millionaire, Hillary Clinton, did not leave a tip for those working class slobs at the restaurant.  Typical.  She is trying to make everyone forget her past and she trying to "remake" herself as just one of us.  The media should be outraged!  But they are only outraged if a conservative woman runs for office.  Just recall Sarah Palin's relentless pummeling by the media and the comics.  She actually was an executive of a state and a college grad.  Oh, but the colleges she attended were not "Ivy League" so the press called her dumb.

Hillary Clinton is the wrong person for the current century.  She is old politics, she is not trustworthy and she is full of herself.  She knows the media will protect her though so she just blows off the truth and like her hubby Bill, she just makes things up.  I for one want to have her tell us all about Monica Lewinsky.  Why would she not stop Bill from abusing the young intern?  I want to know how she made $100,000 from a $1,000 investment in "cattle futures" in one year.  I want to know why our Ambassador under her watch was murdered and why she did not send help.  I want to see my emails on her server.  She committed felonies in my view and that makes her ineligible to be my President.

But, unfortunately, like the slobbering press kissing Obama, she will get no scrutiny from the MSM.  She is the first woman to run for President and a democrat.  She will be coddled and pampered and her feet will never be held to the fire of truth.  We all saw the Palin reporting and it was always negative.  We will see the same if Carli Fiorina runs.  She is a Republican and we all know the press is 90 percent lefty and she will get pummeled even though she is also a woman.  I find the press a shameful estate of America.  If they do not give Clinton the same treatment as they do a man, then the press is truly a massive hypocritical estate.  All my adult years the press says women are equal and should be treated the same as males.  You know, equal pay etc.  So now we will all get to see the lie of that.  The press will and is treating Hillary as a little flower or a fluffy kitty.  If the press would give the Republican men the same free time, I will eat a bug.

  1. It makes you wonder. Obama became the first black president. Was Hillary Clinton promised she could be the first woman president? If so then by whom? Kind of ironic that even women's voting rights took second place in America's history. And, of course, she's already promising lots of freebies if she gets elected. The labor union powerful lobby runs our government and the media. Personally, I hope the memory of those martyrs at Benghazi will live on as a testimonial to the corruption and cover ups by those in this administration...and Hillary Clinton. BMW

spurious connections-- labor unions are the weakest they have been since the great depression. They have about zero clout anymore. The once powerful auto workers who once made and got wage and benefit demands now grovel just for a non-binding 'promise' that the Big 3 won't close anymore plants. In case you missed it, the media is run by very large global conglomerates not the unions. If the media were heavily influenced by unions, logic tells us the unions should be way more powerful than they are. Thanks to the media, unions, especially public employee unions, are pretty much viewed with disdain by a majority of Americans and as such do not have very much leverage at all any more.

    2. I wish you were right but alas you are not. In California the unions are very strong and the legislature's democrats are all paid for by them. The country is in the grip of these organizations and since they extract political money ion the hundreds of millions from their members they have enormous clout.

  2. Here's an interesting article about Hollywood supporting Hillary. Couldn't help posting this quote from it. "Everybody in politics lies, but they do it with such ease, it's troubling," David Geffen said of the Clintons in an interview with New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd in 2007. Reminds me of what kids used to say in school. Everybody does it so that makes it okay.

    1. Looks like the press is right up her toosh like they are with Obama. You would think they should come up for air sometime. The libs may not like her but they hate R's more so she will still get their votes. I hope though that they stay home on election day. It may happen. The R's should spend all their time calling her a war monger for all her votes. That will keep the libs home.

  3. Regarding the labor unions losing their power. Many years ago stats showed that they declined in the private sector along with businesses. However, they moved into government and have largely taken over. Remember those who complained that in order to get a gov job you automatically became a union member with dues deducted from your salary? Also you really didn't have much control over your dues money being used to support political candidates, or ballot propositions. Every now and then this obscenity comes up, but is put down. You could say that our Union run overnment is now of, by and for itself. But as Democrat president FD Roosevelt said, "..logical, but meticulous attention should be paid to the special relationships and obligations of public servants to the public itself and to the Government. All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public personnel management. The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with Government employee organizations. The employer is the whole people, who speak by means of laws enacted by their representatives in Congress....Particularly, I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place in the functions of any organization of Government employees. Upon employees in the Federal service rests the obligation to serve the whole people, whose interests and welfare require orderliness and continuity in the conduct of Government activities. This obligation is paramount. Since their own services have to do with the functioning of the Government, a strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to prevent or obstruct the operations of Government until their demands are satisfied. Such action, looking toward the paralysis of Government by those who have sworn to support it, is unthinkable and intolerable..." This is true for our State representative government also. Unfortunately, union members feel intimidated to do what the leadership wants.

  4. There is a court case that in all likelihood will eviscerate the mandatory dues rules in CA. There is another big win against the teachers union in the tenure case brought by minority students.

    1. I hope you are right. The union stranglehold on our state is suffocating it.

  5. Insanity. Why does Steve Frisch and Jeff Pelline post on George Rebane's blog? Why do they even read it? These two post they will never post on Rebane's blog again and they keep coming back. what do they hope to achieve by posting on Rebane's blog? Some of Steve Frisch's rants are pages long, then Jeff Pelline blogs too. shows a total lack of self control. They say they will never blog on Rebane's again, but keep breaking their word and returning, Seems they can't stay away, seems those on Rebane's blog hold the lease to a lot of space in Steve Frisch's and Jeff Pelline's head.

    1. Yes we have rent free property in their heads. They seem to think they are the only ones who believe they are right. Frisch is an expert on everything. He says so. What that tells me is he is simply a narcissist and cannot control himself. When defeated he always attacks personally and makes innuendo.

Look at his comments about Walt. Walt never sent a restaurant into BK or had every local state and federal agency lien his tractor. Walt never stole the money from his employees on the IRS forms. But when I see attacks on Walt for being a "tractor guy" from pinheads who think they are better, it just proves some people are total shitbirds without class. The two mentioned by you prove it.

  6. It's pretty obvious why they like George Rebanes blog. Freedom of speech and exchange of ideas makes it an interesting place to discuss and learn things from one another. George promotes what we all enjoy...BMW

    1. George Rebane's blog is totally fun. Great ideas are discussed and he even let's creeps from the left comment there without moderation. The liberals moderate all those who disagree and the best example of that is the Pelline blog. He is an echo chamber of nothingness. Boring as hell.

  7. A couple of points Todd…..I’m seeing MSNBC and CNN taking a critical look at Hillary, especially in light of the facts coming about Bill’s speaking fees going through the roof after she became Secretary of State. I’ve heard them throw darts (gently, of course, but nevertheless thrown) at their “Foundation”, and pointing out that deleted emails may have more to do with Bill than Benghazi. I am somewhat encouraged to see the media taking a close look at her, especially her attempt to make herself out as just a normal, everyday American. The mainstream media WANTS another candidate to go up against her which will be exciting for all the political junkies out there, and drive their viewership to tune in more often, if nothing else, just for the fun of it.

Regarding labor unions, prior comments above are right on….they are losing clout big time in the private sector but have enjoyed an increase in the public sector and not just because of mandatory dues. However, that situation may also come full circle. I ran a signature campaign while working for Nevada County to call for a vote to reverse mandatory dues. We easily exceeded the numbers necessary but the state mediator rejected the petition, claiming they were filed late...by one day. Wow, imagine that.

    1. With 19 Republicans vying for the office and only one Hillary my guess is the press will start calling the R's a bunch of bullies for picking on the broad. If Carli is in that may change it a bit though. Clinton is finally being shown for the slimy partner of Bill and they will be exposed fully I believe this time. Americans will be so sick of her shenanigans she will probably lose by ten.

  8. I pray you are correct! Ever notice how each one has been employed by the government while the other is not? Never at the same time I believe. There is a method to their madness when one takes a close look.
