Chris Christie, ya jus gotta luv him

The Governor just doesn't take any crap from people it appears.  On the Jersey Shore with his family on a family night out with his kids and better half, some schmuck started mouthing off about some policy issue and Chris fired back.

HERE is the link to the TMZ video.  Funny how the Christie opposition is always lurking around him with a cam of some sort.  You might think they are trying to catch him passing gas or belching so they can loop a video of "embarrassment" to discredit him.

I like Christie  even though he has a few policies I disagree with.  I am not ne of those "purists" the left complains about regarding my fellow Republicans.  I am looking for people that actually do what they say and are not not just blowing smoke up our a**es to get our votes.  One way to impress me is to stand up to the liberal bullies who seem to populate the halls of legislatures in blue states and the break rooms of schools and union halls.  Christie for the most part, fills the bill.

HERE is the Wiki on him.  Careful though, Wiki can be a biased source.  As you may know, Christie is of Scottish, Irish and Sicilian heritage and a combination like that has got to be respected for its strength.  That is what shines in these spats with liberal scofflaws in New Jersey.  He has implemented many new laws to rectify his predecessors mistakes (crook in waiting, Wall Street scofflaw, John Corzine) which led to deficits and favoritism in the Garden State.  That state is a heavily democrat state and for a ardent Republican to get elected statewide was a major accomplishment in itself.

I think the people of New Jersey have reached their  so-called "tipping point" regarding taxation and regulation.  Christie has fought against a democrat legislature since his election but has been ale to make changes regardless of the legislature's whining and fighting.  I think it is inherent in his personality to win, but win by leading, not whining or blaming others.

Many people have been saying Christie should be considered for the Vice Presidential slot with Romney.  I think he may be a bit too volatile for Romney's taste but I have to say he sure would be an interesting man in the second slot.  I was watching a CNN round table this weekend (holding my nose the whole time) and the babe (and then Alan Colmes, liberal apologist) on the panel was claiming Christie only smacks down women in these impromptu exchanges.  A fellow on the table said the latest confrontations were with males, the babe said OH! Well, she says, he usually goes after women.  I almost upchucked at the obvious attempt by this numskull woman  trying to ignite some sort of "war on women" against Christie.  This is how the left does that sort of thing.  In this case though, the facts this liberal babe was trying to disregard are just too easily checked.  Oh and read the comments on the article and see the nastiness of the "compassionate" liberals regarding name calling and weight jokes perpetrated on Christie.  It is quite the eye opener for the ignorant folks who think liberals are sweet.

I think Christie would possibly make a very good Vice President but he won't get the nod because he is a bit too rugged for our culture.  Too many sound bites, too many videos and too much "gravitas" for the meek voters perhaps.  I for one would like to see Christie move up to the really big time because it is time for America to be led by people who actually accomplish things and don't just yap real pretty.  Obama is a bust for the country, heck now he is being investigated for having a Social Security number from Connecticut that is a dead guys!  The people need a real set of leaders now that we have experienced  the liberal "one".  Perhaps we should get a Romney-Christie in November?

The deck of race cards come out, the can of class warfare gets opened, and the gang of " Your not sensitive enough" gets real insensitive. Your even making fun of his weight. Where is YOUR sensitivity? It's time for you to go to one of those "classes".

  3. Walt, thanks for responding to the schmuck anonymous. As you have pointed out, they are truly hypocrites. I erased his message but he is welcome to come back using a real verifiable name and email. He attacked Christies weight and called him a fascist. Typical liberal fare.
