Chick-fil-A "kiss-in" a bust

Curtis Sliwa, noted founder of the Guardian Angels in New York and a talk show host said it best and funniest,  “I was here to realize every male fantasy — watching lesbians kiss,” he said.  But it wasn't to be.

HERE is the Post article.

All across America we were told to expect a huge turnout of homosexuals and other form of human sexual combinations as they would hold a "kiss-in" at the businesses.  The homosexual activist lobby, the truly extreme branch, had organized the protest but few showed up.  I think the reason is simple.  Americans, whether they are for or against homosexual "marriage" and traditional family values, don't want the officials of government threatening anyone over their views.  When the Mayors of DC, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco said they would not allow a legal, permitted business into their cites because the businesses owner was in favor of traditional marriage, most people said Hell No!  If they do it too Chick-fil-A, they will do it to anyone!

Government officials can be changes by the people and if the Rahm Emanuel's of Chicago think they can use government to enforce their fascist views in our society they have another thing coming.  Americans, still for the most part, have a sense of fairness in their view of the boundaries of government.  Zoning laws were put into place to protect all (supposedly) and when a government official screeches he will use it to bludgeon a business and not allow it to be opened in their jurisdiction, then they don't know Americans.

The extremist homosexuals were surprised at the lack of turnout at their "kiss-in".  They too read the American people wrong and they didn't even read their own members correctly.  If the Mayors think their cities values don't reflect American "fairness" or old fashioned family values. then they are smoking the funny weed.  Hundreds of thousand of Americans turned out to support the Chick-fil-A's all across the country last week.  It was not really about homosexual marriage issues in my view.  It was about loudmouthed Mayors and politicians trying to intimidate Americans and we will have none of it.

America is in a fight for its life these days.  All of us, and I mean all of us, must stand up to the government bullies and reign them in.  California government is the poster child of overreach into each citizens life and there will be a reckoning at some point.  Each time a politician tells us we are not allowed into their world because we believe differentially in our personal philosophy, they will be judged as unfit to lead us.  We are not the present day Russia where a bunch of girls are arrested and threatened with seven years in the clink by Putin for protesting him.  We are not Syria where the folks are being murdered simply because they want some freedom from government hegemony.  We are America where points of view are debated in the public square and government and its officials are our servants.  They are not Gods and it is my hope the Mayors get their butts booted from the public trust.

Go America!
