The Americans were booted by the Iraqi government (they would not give our people legal protections) and now we get to see the 1500 battles resume between the Sunni and the Shia. The Arab Spring some had hoped would change these medieval people's brains does not seem to be working. If anyone had any doubts about America becoming oil independent these bombings are a good reminder (and Iran's war games in the Straits of Hormuz). I think the people from the environmental communities that stop our projects from succeeding because they think "fossil fuels" are bad should be arrested and tried for treason. Well maybe not treason, how about a flogging?
