Have
I got this right...
Don't
forget that Obama lost his Law Degree for cheating on his bar exam, and Michelle
lost hers for insurance fraud...
Clinton
was disbarred
by
Arkansas.
He
also paid a $25,000.00 fine there, this was all over the Lewinski incident. He
also paid a $850,000.00 settlement over the Lewinski incident.
He
was also disbarred from practicing law in front of the Supreme Court. So Bill
Clinton, a disbarred lawyer, a President who was impeached for lying under oath,
asks the American people to believe him when he says the best thing for the
country is 4 more years of Obama.
Just
wanted to make sure I had it right!
Our LIB friends think "O" is a truthful fellow, and the campaign adds are factual... Well, some union coal miners say otherwise.
ReplyDeletethis is what they told "O"!
Dear President Obama:
We are writing as the employees of American Energy Century Mine in Beallsville, Ohio. You have approved in a running television campaign ads about the Mitt Romney event that was held at our Century coal mine. These ads state that we were forced to attend this rally and that is blatantly false. There are numerous false statements and absolute lies concerning our participation in this event, we, the employees, mostly started by a local shock jock host. Since your approval is attached to these ads, you may not wish to support these mistruths. Why would you lie about the 500 working miners who have signed this letter? We, the employees of Century Mine, would request you immediately stop these false ads. Thank you. Century Mine employees.
This can be easily veriified at https://www.iardc.org Stands for Illinois Attorney Registration And Disciplinary Committee. It's the official arm of lawyer discipline in Illinois; and they are very strict and mean as hell.
ReplyDelete1. President Barack Obama, former editor of the Harvard Law Review, is no longer a "lawyer". He surrendered his license back in 2008 in order to escape charges he lied on his bar application.
A "Voluntary Surrender" is not something where you decide "Gee, a license is not really something I need anymore, is it?" and forget to renew your license. No, a "Voluntary Surrender" is something you do when you've been accused of something, and you 'voluntarily surrender" your license five seconds before the state suspends you.
2 Michelle Obama "voluntarily surrendered" her law license in 1993. after a Federal Judge gave her the choice between surrendering her license or STAND TRIAL FOR insurance FRAUD.
Thanks for the input on the post anonymous. Hopefully others will confirm.
ReplyDeleteTodd, "O"'s happy campers don't care if he or the Mrs. lost their credentials or how or why. They will vote to keep him in office no matter what.
ReplyDeleteOK,, devout LIBS and Progressives, ( some are not one in the same. But not many)
Please state just what "O" and Co. would have to do ( or not do) for you to vote the other way? ( you know,, cast a vote for a repub/Conservative)
Have the wherewithal to answer?
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/lawlicenses.asp
ReplyDeleteAll BS.It isn't too hard to look at Snopes and find an answer that is truthful and not politically biased.
Ken Jones
Really Ken? A collection of blog comments and opinion? And that's supposed to pass as "factual evidence"? You don't just "turn in" your licence because you don't need it anymore, or get tired of sending in the renewal payments. This is something you do to keep your wrong doings quiet, and stay out of the public record. Dr.s do the same thing.
DeleteBoth professions get this "immunity" when they screw up big time, and never have to admit to guilt.
Nice try...
Since you dragged Snopes into this, I know of another FACT they Snopes claimed to be "false".
DeleteSnopes claimed that Saddam Hussein didn't have yellow cake Uranium prior to the Gulf war.
Tell that to one of my renters who was there to take it away, and is now dieing of radiation caused cancers.
Walt
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I even respond but you are wrong as is the norm.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/yellowcake.asp
Facts not blogs or The Daily Caller.
Like I said. I will take the word of a guy who was there and dieing from the stuff, over a blog that is/was hell bent on putting Bush in a bad light.
DeleteNever mind the fact that snopes has no credibility except for far Left LIBS. Funny how when you search the name, Soros and many other needle bending LIBS are referenced. Ya,,,, and we are to take Snopes seriously.
Walt did we find any DAMN WMDs in Iraq? No. Pitiful lies to attack a sovereign nation. From someone who relies on the Daily Caller and Beck your attack on Snopes is meaningless. Snopes isn't a blog. It is legitimate, unlike you.
ReplyDeleteYou really think you are some intellectual conservative giant in that hard hat. Looks more like a solar panel for a dumbass machine.
OH,, just because it wasn't in the form of a usable nuke, it doesn't count. Gotta love that LIB criteria.
DeleteSnopes is a joke. And it's on you. But HAY!!,, if you want to use it as fodder, have at it. So,, You better check it to see if the 9/11 attack was terrorism or just a response to the movie. My guess is the movie. LOL
BTW,, A family member of mine will disagree with you on what they really found.
Walt, Romney/Ryan up five in the battleground states. The libs are apoplectic and desperate. Jones proves it.
DeleteWalt you continue to make excuses but facts are just that, facts. I will resource Snopes over Beck anyday. But as usual I wasted my time on this crap with you. I really should know better by now. Make sure you show us those WMDs too.
DeleteHave at it Ken,, NO ONE references snopes anymore. It's in the Internet wasteland. The Blaze and GBTV is growing by leaps and bounds.
DeleteIs snopes on Dish network? GBTV is. Put that in your bong and smoke it.
I won't be long before GBTV is picked up by cable networks. When it comes to nutty LIBS, I have no problem adding insult to injury.
Don't forget to watch the masterdebater in action tomorrow night.
Lets see him defend his record. One thing is for sure,, he's running from it as fast as he can.
HAY,, Kenny,, You know all those chemical weapons they are talking about in Syria? ( WMD s) Just where do you think they came from?
DeleteIRAQ!! In the days and weeks before we attacked, that's where Saddam
sent them, along with most of his aircraft.
But since your favorite news sources never reported that you won't believe it.
This info comes from those that have been there that I personally know.
Deny all you like. That will never change reality.
The bar record says that [Michelle Obama] is "Voluntarily inactive." This is even more common for lawyers who don't need a bar card, such as many lawyers who don't appear in court or counsel clients other than employer. Being an active status lawyer costs more money than being inactive, and it requires one to do Continuing Legal Education classes, unless one is in certain jobs for which the CLE requirements are waived. The difference in bar fees, for instance, is why I myself was inactive in 2001. Moreover, it's pretty easy to switch back to active status should one need to do that.
ReplyDeleteBarack Obama did not "surrender" his law license. Like Michelle, Barack Obama had no need for an active law license for the work in which he was engaged, so he chose not to maintain it (but unlike his wife, he "voluntarily retired" rather than going on "voluntarily inactive" status). Neither of the Obamas was irrevocably stripped of their law licenses through the action of "surrendering" them.
Information about the statuses of both Barack and Michelle Obama's licenses is readily retrievable, both show no record of any disciplinary actions or pending proceedings, and the elapsed time for searches we performed on their information was comparable to that for searches on information about other names in the Illinois ARDC database.
Neither of the Obamas holds a currently active law license because neither President of the United States nor First Lady is a position that requires one. It's also inaccurate in referring to the Obamas as the "first Lawyer President and First Lady," as both Bill and Hillary Clinton held law degrees and engaged in legal work prior to the former's election to the presidency.
Very good, but as we all know when high faluting and connected folks get caught their pals in the bureaucracy (especially in Chicago amd Illinois) will allow a way out. This has happened hundreds of times in California recently with Mortgage Brokers licenses and hard money lenders. The government says we will not prosecute if you "voluntarily" give up your license.
DeleteLIB playbook rule #86. Cut and paste BS from "official" protectalib web site and choose appropriate excuse.
DeleteSnopes is a good party member in good standing and adheres to protectalib protocols. Use of content from this site is authorized.
But the good liberal sheeple like Ken Jones believe Snopes and Amy Goodman and DailyKos and will never doubt them. Then because we watch FOX and read the Weekly Standard, the Ken Jones call us extremists. The Great Divide at work. Fortunately, we on the right are taking the country back from the sheeple.
DeleteKen and crew better not see the latest poll numbers from the swing states.
ReplyDeleteThose bogus adds that "O" and Co. have caught up with them. Especially the one
about the coal miners. According to "O" ( since he "approved" that message)
claimed that the miners were forced to attend the stump speech.
An open letter signed by all the miners says otherwise, and those miners
are not one bit happy about it. News of that baled faced lie of an add has spread like wildfire.
This is proof positive LIBS will stoop to any level to try and retain power.
51% in Mitt's favor.
Buckle up Progressives, your about to take a ride on the Rubicon trail.
walt has got to be one of the angriest people I have ever seen. I feel like he must have been abused by a liberal as a child and that is why he has so much rage towards them...
DeleteAngry??? Not me,, Looking in the mirror when making that post?
DeleteI'm not on the side that wants to control every aspect of a person's life. Unlike LIBS that want to tell us what we should eat, what car to drive, just where we should live or what job we should have, and the list goes on.
The people are revolting on that LIB concept, and it's LIBS like you that are peeved that we don't see it your way, and vote in kind.
Try harder next time Rummpy,,LOL!
UUhhhhh Ken,,,, See the paper this morning?
ReplyDeleteRead about the MMJ growing case. I just about choked on my coffee when the ones bitching about the grow used an " ask.com " posting as evidence.
And you like to say snopes has the final word?
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!
Walt, I have to wonder why the CABPRO group is not supporting the MMJ community as do we really need more regulations?
ReplyDeleteThis whole issue has been greatly overblown by our Sheriff as if you consider that Sheriff Royal stated that his office was receiving 30-40 complaints a day, but this year (effective 2.5 weeks ago) his office had received 180 total calls (with 50% of them being from the same number directed at the same property owners).
Originally we (according the Royal's number) had @7,300 incoming calls, but some far this year we've had @100, so how does that math add up? Sheriff Royal stated that “they didn’t write down these complains when a Freedom of Information request came in (which in itself is against law to not write down complaints).
How can the BOS members, considering that the Sheriff's office & DA have spent @$1,200,000 (from the general fund), with another estimated cost of $2,000,000 by the time this is done work? I can understand this, but if you consider that there are @23K residential living units in Nevada County, this would be @25% of all residential units in the county, and if you eliminate the properties that are zoned in a high density residential zoning, then we would have @13,200 residential living units. And it means that over 50% of the residents complained…..
I can understand why this was just that important to eliminate this issue, but when you actually look at the “actual” numbers (@100 call so far this year) we would have a percentage of .0000013%, and if you consider that other issues such as robbery have a much high rate, I wonder why no-one has said “this doesn’t look right?
It's pretty obvious that our Sheriff has his own agenda, and told numerous stories (about 20' tall plants) to eliminate this right (that was passed by California Voters). How come he could not "eliminate" the problem with the illegal grower on Annie? They had pictures of the threatening actions, but he chose to try to make this a sounding point for his actions and now Nevada County residents’ will be paying the price by the elimination of services such as Law Enforcement, parks and school programs.
I wonder why CABPRO is not supporting the ASA group?
Can someone explain that one to me?
Call the CABPRO Board Members and Executive Director and ask them. They are all easy to find. Then you won't not have to wonder.
DeleteI will try to do that this week, thanks Todd for your response!
DeleteBottom line. The problem is the FEDS. ( forget when "O" promised to leave CA alone when it came to MMJ?? How did that work out?)
ReplyDeleteWhen the prop. was passed, growers thought they could do as they please.
Forget the whole idea was to take the profit out of weed? Growers didn't like that one bit.
It seems a majority doesn't want to play by the rules.
I have no problem with someone growing a few plants for their personal use.
Yes, I understand that some can't grow, and need someone to do that for them.
That brings us back to the original issue. "non profit".
Yes, water , fertilizer, and time do have a cost. So,, keep good books. But there is no justification to charge say,,, $200.00 an hour ( just for the sake of argument)
in labor.
We know of another "non profit" guy that rakes in $100.000.00 a year.
Does that sound like "non profit" to you?
Ever watch those MJ programs on Discovery or History Ch.? Vary enlightening.
It sure didn't help the MMJ cause on bit.
It sure did matter to the poor woman who's suffering from non-hodgkins lymphoma, as we're hearing that she's going to file a counter suit against her neighbor for emotional distress.
DeleteI bet she owns the neighbor's home before she's done!
FULL ANSWER
ReplyDeleteWe briefly addressed rumors about the status of the Obamas’ law licenses back in January 2010 in an Ask FactCheck titled “Clueless ‘Columbo.’ ” But a steady stream of questions about them has continued to flow to our inbox ever since.
It’s true that neither the president nor the first lady holds an active license to practice law. A search on the website of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois shows that Barack Obama is listed as “voluntarily retired and not authorized to practice law,” and Michelle Obama is listed as “voluntarily inactive and not authorized to practice law.”
But it’s not true that President Obama “surrendered his license back in 2008 in order to escape charges he lied on his bar application,” or that Michelle Obama “ ‘voluntarily surrendered’ her law license in 1993 after a Federal Judge gave her the choice between surrendering her license or standing trial for Insurance fraud,” as the chain email claims.(Annenburg Public Policy Center one sponsor of the above FactCheck.
So I guess you believe what you wrote and others believe what they wrote. A matter of interpretation it appears.
DeleteI get a kick out of the discussions here, and understand where guys like Walt are coming from...personal experience! Common sense! Walt, I'm glad there are those like you still around. Haven't we read that common sense is now America's most endangered species?
ReplyDeleteWhy Thank You Ms. Bonnie. Hat's off to the lady.
DeleteDon't forget that Obama lost his Law Degree for cheating on his bar exam, and Michelle lost hers for insurance fraud...
ReplyDeleteI don't recall that. Do you have som links?
