Scoop, local liberals unable to read election results

Just a quick note to once again guffaw at the local left.  They, like their mentor Obama (claiming some form of victory in Wisconsin) are trying to make a leftwing pile of crap turn into some gold bars.  They were trounced yesterday but somehow missed it I guess.

Republicans and conservatives carried most of the contests and yet the local liberals claim some sort of "purple" gang victory.  It just goes to show you you can take a liberal to the woodshed but he may  turn the beating into a pleasure act in his brain.  What a hoot!

I especially like the fact Truckee will have very conservatibe representation at the state and federal level.  Maybe those grants and loans will be drying up and the winner will be we taxpayers!

  1. Dammit Todd, don't tell 'em. Let 'em rest in the comfort of their fabricated world.

  2. Not a single Tea Party backed candidate did anything notable. In fact, they mostly were drubbed. But lets not talk about that...

  3. I don't belong to the Tea Party so your slight means nothing to me.

  4. Todd, I'm a little disgusted with Jeff Pellene constantly referring to Sue as being "hard right." It makes it sound like if you are an American who believes in our Constitution and Bill of Rights you are automatically an extremist. He must not notice that most of our people in government swear an oath to protect and uphold the Constitution regardless of their political party. I thought we were all Americans. The Tea Party reminded Americans where our basic freedoms come from. When I think of the thousands who gave their lives for our freedom I can't help but feel what they did is notable. Geez...I hope Anonymous and friends think about it the next time they open a beer celebrating the Fourth of July.

  5. Bonnie, it is amazing a supposed educated man like Pelline is as dumb as he appears to be about people. The left, and I say that with great affection, represented by Pelline and his five blogger buddied really took a beating at the polls Tuesday night by true Americans. Those whiners on the left are simply jealous of those people like Sue who have the guts to put themselves out their and who take the potshots from the "do-nothings" of the liberal persuasion. I know Sue is mainstream from her writings and the times I have listened to her at the debates. The Tea arty people like Rick Briggs are mainstream too. Hell, he is a employee all his life ay B and C, a family man and a true American patriot just like you and your hubby. Pelline is just ignorant and tries to convince everyone he matters but he really doesn't in our area. He is Marin material and a bay area type liberal who doesn't fit in to the political structure of Nevada County. Tell Sue I am proud of her and wish her well.

  6. It is true that the local Tea Party apparatus has had very little sway on the local elections- 2010 and 2012. The BOS now has 2 Dems and 1 Moderate Repub. Dems Jim Reed, Robert Meacher and Jack Uppal did very, very well in Nevada County. On balance, it looks like the definition of purple.

  7. Scuse me. Mr. Lamphier is not a Democrat on the BOS. But he is certainly NOT a conservative. Purple BOS.

  8. JS, you folks are deseperate to put lipstick on the proverbial pigge. The County is center right.

  9. The topic was the Tea Party's non-influence on the last 2 election cycles here in Nevada County. Of course anyone can debate the Center Left/Center Right/Center Center thing till the cows come home. It shifts a little each way, each time. Yes, the sweet spot appears to be PURPLE.

  10. The only thing purple are the veins in the necks of irritated liberals. The R's have a 4k lead and the indies are mostly center right. The Tea Party has 2 or three thousand folks and no matter what you think they are a force to be reckoned with. The more you people think they are overrated the more they like it.

  11. I don't think they like all their candidates losing. Please list the significant political victories in Nevada County by Nevada County Tea Party backed candidates:

  12. Please list the significant victories of any candidates supported by the OWS in Nevada County.

    ReplyDelete
  13. OWS is not involved in politics. Everyone knows that. But since you apparently don't want to answer the question about Nevada County Tea Party backed candidate victories in 2010 and 2012- the answer is: ZERO. A perfect shutout. Not much of a force we can conclude.

  14. How do you know the Tea Party had no involvement? The local branch
doesn't endorse any candidate from my understanding. But that doesn't
stop good old word of mouth.
This new open primary was the LIB hot idea as a way to stack the deck
in their favor.( just my humble opinion,) Well it jumped up and bit the
left in the ass. From what I have read, this has happened all over the state.
The Conservatives are now guaranteed a Senate seat. And yes, the Tea Party was heavily involved in that race. But don't count on the media telling you that.

  15. Walt, JP is convinced the county is "purple" and judging by his comments here nothing will change his pea brain. I personally am not a member of the Tea Party and have no information about their group. But I must say I know many people who are members who helped victors in individual campaigns.

Now that Obama has been outed as a "New Party" member of that socialist group, and has demeaned his poor wife with a description of her "acts" on a speech about her friendship with Ellen Degenrous, we can see the level of brains JP and the Obamaites have. Not much it appears. What a hoot!

  16. Nice to see two delusional souls who cannot acknowledge reality. Like Romney taking credit for saving GM and Chrysler. Precious.

The Fact remains- Tea Party in Nevada County- FAIL!

    ReplyDelete
  17. To "He with bag on head" ( believe Izzy Warren too Anon.?) So that's the best you got? " delusional" ?? From my take on things, YOUR side lost BIG time,
and have nothing to back up your claim about the Tea Party. Typical Leftist sour grapes. But believe what you want, forget about the last big election, forget THIS election, but Sally forth and take with you the belief that "O" will win in a land slide, and your side will take back both houses. Don't forget to buy feed for the unicorn ranch. Get the pixie dust while it's cheap.

  18. LOL..that was funny stuff DM.

  19. All polls and electoral maps say Obama will win nationally in November by a small margin when all said and done. Check the map Walter. He will also win Nevada County.

    ReplyDelete
  20. So he "might"* win Nevada Co. Big deal..... And as far as your "poll" information
I suggest you do some more frantic searching. Nationally? Not a chance.
Due to a major polling error, "O" may lose six states all in one shot. ( and the ones he needs most)
But Hay!, believe what you may. HELL,, The Left just might regain both houses with your line of thought too. LOL on that. Keep the paper bag on your head from this point on. That way when your prophecy doesn't come true, you can keep your dignity in public.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh, I see. A major polling error... Check.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Mitt Romney would collect at least 72 of the 110 electoral votes available in eight battleground states if President Barack Obama’s current polling numbers, as reported by The Huffington Post, are overstated by a mere one percent.

So brown bagger,,, what does your "pole" have to say about that? ( I ment to spell it that way.You figure it out. LOL)

you actually have something intelligent to work with.
Your Liberal gutter sniping is getting real dull. IT
must really suck to be bested by a common ditch digger. LOL
Dept. Dog? Really?? Remind me... Who was his sidekick?
I'm long past Sat. morning cartoons.

  25. The Staying just might recover both houses with your variety of considered too. LOL on that. Keep the review bag on your go from this aspect on. That way when your forecast doesn't come actual, you can keep your satisfaction in group.
