Who would have thought? These types of things are usually done by people no one had a clue would do it. This is like ID on the HLN Channel or Forensic Files. But apparently no one found out until a "Voices of Others" was published in today's Union Newspaper. Anonymous is Steve Enos.
HERE is the Voices by Enos.
HERE is the article by the Union.
I have personally withheld my opinion on Lamphier since the inception as I want the justice system to run its course. Others have not waited of course and many comments have shown up here on my blog. I totally agree that anyone who is involved in "child pornography" should be dealt with severely. Our job as men, the job I was given, was to protect our women and children not abuse them. When someone abuses a child they are the lowest form of humanity in my view. So, if Lamphier is guilty of the charges he will spend some time in the hoosegow. If he is innocent then a lot of people will have to say "Sorry"!
One thing about these kinds of things is the damage they do to people and their friends and supporters. If a person is guilty of these kinds of things it is a abuse of the trust friends and relatives placed in a person. This kind of stuff undermines people's confidence in others and embarrasses the community. Dirty laundry is something that rubs off on to others. Kind of like the recent "top ten dangerous cities" put out by some dopey website. No one wins.
The local Lamphier supporters, the local democrat party activists, have even put out the word to gather donations for Lamphier's court case. Unfortunately these same democrats have claimed or alleged the whole case is some vendetta or conspiracy by Lamphier's political opposites. Looks like these democrats have egg on their collectivist faces!
I have had numerous dustups with Steve Enos over the years. He has attacked me personally about things and I was always curious about that. I think I may have met him once yet he was constantly attacking me in print up until a few years ago. Then he went silent on the blogs and newspapers. I used to point out I disagreed with his planning ideas and those little shacks at the Walgreen's property are the best example of his ideas. But we are all subject to attacks and rumors when we are in public life or choose to put our opinions into the ether.
Enos letter does beg the question of what alerted you to Lamphier's alleged computer shenanigans?
It seems only fair that you must reveal that fact. Since all of this was initiated by your letter the people should be informed. Also, will you be called as a witness? Or deposed? Inquiring minds want to know.
