Debate Tonight, one last chance to see an ass kickin' by Romney

I try and post after the debates are done but I have decided on this ;last one to toss out a few things for you all to chew on.  Reading the news stories today we can see the polls showing a upsurge by Romney and in many now he leads.   I believe the debates have caused this surge.

I was doubtful a debate would have any real affect on any race (unless there were real terrible gaffes) and the theory has always been to at least fight to a draw.  Well, after the first Presidential debate we see a steady tsunami for Romney/Ryan and a possible blowout on election day.  I will not count my chickens yet, but leave the American voter to his/her duty.  If America wants to rid itself of massive government overreach, to me the path is clear.

Romney will be in a disadvantage tonight on the stated platform of "foreign affairs". (Clinton was a real affairs guy).  Why?  Because Obama is in charge of the policy and has been there for four years.  Romney though has expressed the general Republican policy preferences of a strong military and a "don't screw with America" mantra spoken about all my life.  I think Obama will score some points by once again mentioning the death of Osama but for the most part I think the American who has been paying attention since 2001 knows Bush deserves credit as well.  It is a duty to pursue and neutralize America's enemies and the American people expect nothing less.

Romney will reiterate the lies told by Obama about Libya and his Admin mouthpieces.  Obama will be protected by his stenographers in the lamestream media.  But the American people will get to hear the Obama BS up close and personal tonight.  I just don't think the voter will , sadly, care that much about the mess-up par excellence of Obama on this terrorist attack and murder of our Ambassador and other Americans.

Romney is a good debater and he has a real good grasp of the facts and the truth.  Obama is a community organizer and his skills enable him to rile up the folks.  But TV will temper Obama's words and enhance Romney's.  I think the country is weary of the high unemployment and lack of jobs for themselves and their neighbors.  That will trump all and I expect Romney will say that a strong economy actually is a strong foreign policy strategy.

I work in a small business environment and I have to say the government cares less about all the angst we people are experiencing.  They are spewing out thousands or rules and regulations, they are sending out their storm troopers to inspect, audit and arrest Americans all across the country.  There has been no letup in the governments strategy.

America are its core will get to see one more time tonight the difference between a free enterprise candidate and a socialistic type candidate.  If Romney lets the American voters see the stark difference between he and Obama, and he does it without rancor, then I think the deal will be sealed for the man from Massachusetts.

  2. Here is what the Republican cheaters have brought to our country. Nice going!

Republican attempts to reduce voter turnout in minority neighborhoods are so widespread that, at the request of American civil rights groups, international monitors will oversee our elections:

United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week.[...]

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers from its human rights office around the country on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places. It's part of a broader observation mission that will send out an additional 80 to 90 members of parliament from nearly 30 countries.

Liberal-leaning civil rights groups met with representatives from the OSCE this week to raise their fears about what they say are systematic efforts to suppress minority voters likely to vote for President Obama. New York Times

  3. Where possible, OSCE teams will be on the ground on Election Day--and they won't just be watching the actual voting.
“They [will] observe the overall election process, not just the ballot casting,” said Giovanna Maiola, spokeswoman for OSCE. “They are focusing on a number of areas on the state level, including the legal system, election administration, the campaign, the campaign financing [and] new voting technologies used in the different states.”
Some states explicitly allow for international observers.  In other cases, the OSCE has used its contacts at the local level to get permission to watch the proceedings.
Not surprisingly, one of the worst offenders among the wingnut groups trolling for voter fraud is not at all happy.
The request for foreign monitoring of election sites drew a strong rebuke from Catherine Engelbrecht, founder and president of True the Vote, a conservative-leaning group seeking to crack down on election fraud.
“These activist groups sought assistance not from American sources, but from the United Nations,” she said in a statement to The Hill. “The United Nations has no jurisdiction over American elections.”
Engelbrecht is one to talk.  Her organization has gotten it wrong--bad wrong--when challenging voters in several states.   In fact, True the Vote has gotten it wrong so often that both Democratic and Republican election officials have criticized it.  And Congressman Elijah Cummings has launched an investigation, suspecting that True the Vote may be a criminal organization.  In other words, True the Vote is part of the reason why the OSCE had to be called in to start with.

It was dead calm one minute, then all hell broke loose.
We knew we got a taste of the thing when the bird feeders were upside down
for about 10 seconds. Then dead clam just as fast.
Ya,, bad news for our resident Lefys. I wasn't a statistic from this storm.
I live another day, to post away.

    2. LOL!! We are just fine. But I haven't taken a drive to the South side of the hill yet to see what got tore up.
It sure didn't do the bird feeders a damned bit of good, and one of our Maple trees is a little embarrassed to be naked so soon in the season. Hardly a leaf left on it.
Did Jen upgrade to a Dyson? The broom was a little dated. ( sorry, couldn't help myself) Or maybe it was Dear little Lucas blowing through town.

Time for the LIBS to get nasty... The debate is starting.

    8. Walt (Pat), last night was amateur hour for the multi-millionaire patrician. He looked like a schoolboy talking about foreign policy. President was in charge at all times. Mittster is pretty good at insulting allies and sticking his foot inside his substantial mouth. God he's a tool.

    9. Sorry Jenny, "O"'s idea of foreign policy is apologizing and bowing to those foreign dictators. Hell, they have an open invite to the White House. Terrorist "diplomats" have been there many a time. Don't believe me?
You can always look up the official guest list. ( dare you)

  5. Love it. "O" thinks our military doesn't use bayonets anymore. The fool is sure out of touch with reality. Our troops still rely on those knives to this day.

    2. No matter how you spin it, (Obama and his hurting balls, thanks for that visual Pat) Romney does not have what it takes. The only way this gutless wonder will win is by cheating...just like you know who. Obama was focussed, strong and very knowledgable. Romney ended up agreeing with almost everything Obama said....and it made him appear the whimp he is. He played it safe and his complete lack of character came roaring to the forefront. He is a loser and the voters are going to hand him his hat and show him the door on November 6th. and you know it.

    3. HUmmmm,, As I recall, that was said about the last debate. Mitt's numbers just went higher, and O's tanked.
I think O knows his ship is sunk. Why else would he have just bought a new house in Hawaii?

Sorry Anon, O has screwed the pooch, and the pooch didn't like it one bit. We can still hear it yelping as it runs off into the night.

  6. With all the money the mighty "O" has suckered people out of in the name of " vote for me", and is supposed to be so fiscally smart, then just why in hell has the Obummer people borrowing 15 Mil. from B of A?
I see the bank getting stiffed on this. You don't barrow that kind of money just to try and win a losing battle. Who will be left to pay it back?

  7. No wonder LIBS like O, News has leaked out that Choom daddy was also
the campus " snowman " I'm not surprised if we learn that Dear Leader
operated a "stress management" clinic in one of the alleys on campus.
( a folding card table with a vast assortment illegal substances for your tripping pleasure) We all heard about the weed. So Coke is no real surprise.
No wonder he wants to keep his collage records dead, and buried.

  8. The soon to be "ex" First lady has given away the "inside" news that their days are short numbered. She is having to resort to wearing the same dress more than once. That's NEVER a good sign.
Maybe that was one of B of A's stipulations about the "loan" they just gave "O" and Co. " No more high priced goodies for the Mrs.".

  9. Actually, after much deep thought and consideration about my beliefs and opinions I have decided I am going to vote for obama. Even though my previous comments are ignorant and brimming with hate I have had a change of heart. I apologize to every "LIB" I ever insulted seeing as how just because people had different beliefs than I did doesn't make them dumb or bad people as I previously conveyed.

This is what we expect from losing LIBS. Desperation like a caged chipmunk.

OK Nutless, your up to bat. Now try and come up with something original

  10. It was just a matter of time before some impostor pipes up from bowels of the sewer pipes. Better watch how your votes are cast.
This is the same kind of person that will not think twice about voting fraudulently.
So how many mailboxes have you pilfered the absentee ballots out of?

    1. Yeah, it makes me so mad when people come in here and use my name to tell everyone that I hate LIBS or use the words "O and company". You know, basically all the stuff that Walt usually says, but under my name. I wonder if Walt is the one who is hijacking my name...
