Don't tell me what to do!

I was watching the news today and as usual the liberal media was taking Michelle Bachmann to task for making a joke that had, GASP, a religious bent, shhh, she even said GOD! Watch the linked video and listen to the tone of the sourpuss media telprompter news readers.  Then they attacked Rick Perry (watch the video and see the media's ad in juxtaposition with Perry's comments) again for whispering to a child in a meeting line last week that in Texas the schools allow Darwinism and creationism to be discussed!  OMG!  The press, those secular humanist's we all can't stand any longer, are doing their best to portray the Republican Presidential candidates as supporters of some sort of Christian Sharia Law.

Later I saw some liberals debating these happenings, (Bachmann was being funny, you know, joking for goodness sakes) and a thought came to me about the liberal. The liberal panel was stating they didn't want someone who has a religion to be telling them what to do.  Wow!  I got it!  The liberal doesn't want a religious person to be corrupting their world with views or opinions that would be in effect, telling them how to live their lives, but they are willing to let politicians of no beliefs in GOD to do that very thing!

So, we have millions of rules governing our lives, our behaviours and our possessions most passed by heathen secular humanists, devoid of any religious influence.  The liberal apparently prefers to be told what to do by those heathens rather than take the chance a Christian or a Jew might involved.  Yikes!

What the heck is a law anyway?  A legal way to tell us what to do and enforced by the power of force by the government.  Now, we have a gazillion laws and every year we get a couple of thousand more just in California.  These laws tell us all, liberals and conservatives, what we can or can't do.  Now what is the difference if a heathen secular politician who may believe aliens created us all and a Christian politician who believes in Jesus Christ?  Well, maybe ethics? Character (good), maybe even kindness and forgiveness?  The liberal will demand the law not be "tainted" with any person who may have a religious Christian background but will follow a non-believer over a cliff of laws!  Amazing.

It is fascinating to me the fear the liberal feels when a person mentions GOD or Jesus in the context of living our lives and the laws we follow (guilt because they are not doing the right thing?).  Thou Shall not Steal.  That means only if you get caught to a liberal?  Same with the rest of the Mosaic Laws I guess.  The fore-fathers of our country did not want a state religion running our people so they disallowed it in the Constitution.  They did state the government could not restrict the free practice of faith.  They did not say a person who believed in Jesus should be banned from the public square.  They knew a person who was a Christian had a better chance of being a good person though and perhaps because there are standards of ethical and moral behaviour practised by Christians they were hoping the land would be influenced by them.

So here we are again.  The Republican candidates mention GOD or Jesus or faith and the heathen secular press goes apoplectic and hounds the poor people into the ground.  Of course, they don't treat the left to any standards regarding a belief system and you see what we get. Teddy  Kennedy, Anthony Weiner,  faux believers like Pelosi and Reid and of course, the Barbara Lee's.  Our Constitution will keep the liberal safe from a state religion and their heathen media friends will keep them safe too if they can convince enough people the candidates who mention GOD are going to impose their Ayatollah on the place.  A little bit of Jesus would help the country so as far as I a concerned, keep on keepin on Bachmann and Perry.
