He enjoyed communicating with each of you on Sierra Dragon's Breath. Todd was a Great, Loving, Kind man and will be Missed. Love you honey! Till wee meet again.

He is Really Dead

Yeah, he is dead and now he gets a chance to meet his equals in the afterlife.  I saw this cartoon and thought it appropriate.  Thank you to President Obama and former President Bush and Vice President Cheney.  But especially our military heroes who keep us safe.  GOD BLESS YOU!

    On this topic, I also give Obama credit for giving Osama a muslim burial at sea. I also give him credit for not publishing the photos.

    I've heard many conservatives oppose this...but such opposition is short sighted in my view.

    This act by Obama will surely reduce the emotional response by our enemies and will thus save lives and property damage. It's a small concession to make, and thus was a good move by Obama.

    I am actually conflicted on the pictures. Since the Muslims hate us regardless, what would be the problem? I recall the left was vociferously demanding the Abu Graib photos and others and it mattered not regarding the response from them, it was the same. So, maybe releasing the photos would actually prove he is dead since there is now a question from the conspiracy nuts that he may not be. Also, my understanding of the Muslim burial practice within 24 hours does not contain a practice for an at sea or water burial. I have given Obama my thanks for killing the bastard though.

    Todd, I had heard that the immediate burial at sea wasn't exactly a Muslim practice. I still feel that it helps reduce the emotional energy of our opposition. I wouldn't agree that all Muslims hate us...and so I still think this tactical concession was a good one. It seem like a trivial one on our part, with high rewards in the end.

    I fankly don't care if Osama is dead or alive. If he's alive and being interrogated and the rest of the world thinks he's dead that's fine. Either way, it's clear that he's no longer going to be directing actions against the USA or the rest of the World.

    I've hear theories that photo's of Osama would help raise him as a Martyr and I think that's enough of a possibility that we should try to avoid that.
