Tom McClintock, Our Congressman

Tom was here yesterday going all over the county and speaking to different groups of people.  He is a dedicated public servant who practices what he preaches (he is a humble fellow too).  He wants us to know what is going on in our government and what he is dong for us in the government.  I appreciate that attitude alot.

Having been a public servant myself, I know how important it is for the public to know and understand what you stand for and it allows the public to decide if you are worthy of their support.  Based on what I see and heard from Tom, he will be our "servant" for a long time.

Tom took the time from his busy day to meet and discuss issues with a few of us at the CABPRO office.  CABPRO is our local organization that fight hard for jobs, constitutional rights and less taxes and regulations.  It is a good fit with Tom's philosophy.  CABPRO represents many local people and businesses in a vocal and activist way.  CABPRO is there to offset liberal bias and propaganda by dispersing the truth to our citizens.  We had a good hour of back and forth with Tom and I am happy to report he gives us all hope the government will be brought under the people's control again.

I had a few questions about regulations and budgets and of course my favorite topic, the Auburn Dam.  Tom filled us in on his strategy to deal with the out of control regulators in the federal system and I am encouraged it will happen.  He is for opening the floodgates of freedom to allow Americans to become the creative people we are and with his tax strategies (cutting) and his positions on less regulation, I am hopeful America can return from the brink of socialism.  He also discussed Obamacare and the court decisions, and tied them to jobs, or the lack thereof.

Anyway, I was honored to be a participant in the forum and I thank Tom for coming here to our county.

  1. Me too. Congressman McClintock is representing everyone. He spends considerable time listening to and informing his constituents. Tom will do us all good in California and the country through his committee appointments. I'm very much looking forward to future similar informative meetings.
