Hillary the money grabber? And you democrats are stupid to vote for her. At least Trump earned his.

This is too funny when you consider who's always screaming about the rich...money, money, money...Whosa gots da money and makes most da rules?

I want to read the transcripts Hillary Clinton.  Release them now!!

Hillary Money
What did Hillary promise in all these speeches? What was her advice to Deutche Bank, Cisco and the Council of Insurance Agents? What did she tell eBay? Or the “American Camping Association” and why on earth would the American Camping Association pay $260,000 to hear from Hillary? Has she ever been camping?
We may never know because she refuses to tell us. What Hillary discloses to us peasants is on a “need to know” basis only.  Let’s hope that Trump asks her for the transcripts.
Thanks to Russ Steele for finding this.

  1. Another business fleeing California to Texas.

Jamba Juice, will move its headquarters from Emeryville, Calif., to Texas within eight months. The company's new corporate home will be in Frisco, Texas, about 30 miles north of Dallas. In a statement, Chief Executive David Pace said Jamba was looking for places that had "competitive operating costs," access to "skilled restaurant talent" and an "attractive cost of living," along with a central location for further expansion.

"The state of Texas meets all of these criteria and Frisco is a community committed to healthy living that aligns closely with our overall mission," Pace said. The company's lease in Emeryville is set to expire at the end of the year.

The move will affect about 120 employees in Jamba's Emeryville location. After the company moves, Jamba said it expects to employ about 100 employees in Frisco, a mix of Bay Area transplants and newly hired Texas workers.

  2. Jamba Juice is just the latest large California company to announce plans to relocate to Texas. In 2014, Toyota Motor Corp. said it would move its North American headquarters from Torrance to Plano over the next three years.

That same year, longtime Los Angeles-based energy giant Occidental Petroleum announced that it was relocating its headquarters to Houston and would spin off its California assets into a separate company.

And nearly two dozen Bay Area tech companies have made the move to Texas since 2014, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The thousands of Californians who left for jobs in Texas reportedly took nearly $1 billion of taxable revenue out of the state.

    1. Nevada County Peeps dropped a post by Carol Kuzora a democrat activist. She posted a Bernie Sanders campaign ditty. I commented this on the loons post but it was gone.

" Bernie is a socialist. Do you even now what that is or means? Jeeze what has happened to our country? Morons follow and believe in a socialist. Take all your money and possessions and give it to him so he can distribute it to slackers and make everyone equal. You cannot be serious?"
I wish they would leave them, what a spirited debate we would have.

And of course, Calvin Coolidge never said, "the business of America is business."

What he said was, "“After all, the chief business of the American people is business. They are profoundly concerned with producing, buying, selling, investing and prospering in the world. I am strongly of the opinion that the great majority of people will always find these the moving impulses of our life.”

He made that statement in a speech where he was talking about the role of a free press and the fear that business would influence editorial policy. His point was that newspapers were a business and that they would act as the people, their customers, directed them.

He followed that statement with this, "“Of course, the accumulation of wealth cannot be justified as the chief end of existence,” he said. “But we are compelled to recognize it as a means to well-nigh every desirable achievement. So long as wealth is made the means and not the end, we need not greatly fear it...But it calls for additional effort to avoid even the appearance of the evil of selfishness. In every worthy profession, of course, there will always be a minority who will appeal to the baser instinct. There always have been, probably always will be, some who will feel that their own temporary interest may be furthered by betraying the interest of others.”

Get it--there was in Coolidge's mind a higher moral purpose to business and profit alone was not the goal.

So naturally, just like just about every other piece of folksy history you share, you got it wrong.

While I don't disagree with the sentiment I am curious to know what you think was his "higher moral purpose"?

"I'm right and you are wrong!"

How about you do a little research and come up with a real response.

If you have the balls to post this, it should be clear to any casual reader of your blog that you lack the intellectual capacity to understand or interpret history.

  12. Dinesh D'Souza's book "Stealing America" is profound. What he learned from criminals during his confinement was really something. His conversation with an inmate during a chess game went something like this regarding the government spying on D'Souza. His chess partner replied that the only ones they spy on are rich people so they'll know where they can get money just like criminals do when they're casing a joint. The gov does the same thing...to own you. Look at all the politicians-congressmen, senators, presidents who came into office with nothing, and leave as millionaires like Obama and the Clinton's. D'Souza says his experience with criminal gangs taught him about the Democratic Party. BMW
