Sierra Business Council, 990 filings, what do they and the Clinton Foundation have in common, if anything?

HERE is the link to the filings by year up to 2013.  Just fill in their name and hit enter.  Then review this "non-profit's" income and expenses.  After you review it you can decide  whether these kinds of "non-profits" are truly beneficial to the taxpayers who pay for them.  Maybe you will agree these organizations are needed or not.  Or are they just a scam, a make work form of welfare?

There seems to me a Clintonesque feel to this non-profit. Are there really "controls" or oversight to the money?  Please review the 990's and see if you think the veracity of them is true or not.  It appears the man in charge, Steven Frisch, gets paid $113,000 per year.  Is that a fair amount or not?  After all it is a "non-profit" and is the organization getting a good "bang" for the bucks it pays the CEO?  The bottom line appears to be a "loss".  So is this kind of "non-profit" good for America or not?  You decide.  Have fun reviewing all those 990's.

As a side note, I could not find the Red China trip itemized that Mr. Frisch said he took a couple of years ago.  I do see a line item for about $60,000 in travel though.  Could it be in there?

You can copy/paste this link as well.

  1. I always thought "non profit" label was fraudulent. Those receiving money for whatever are profiting. BMW

  2. "Steven Frisch, gets paid $113,000 per year", well that's a nice amount, far higher than the average Nevada County wage. Wonder if this includes all the benefits he must be getting too. Steven Frisch and the other "non-profit" folks are subsidized by taxpayers, they live off of public funds, feeding off the public.

    1. How true. I think $113,000 per year makes it a 1% member.

  3. Reminds me of Al Gore and the Clinton's and how they scam to get their millions.

    1. I have been exposing the Steve Frisch fibs on another blog and he sure gets pissy. Like a big fat 12 year old girl! But since he and you are into brown-nosing each other, I would think you might want some fresh air bigboy.

I think Frisch running this SBC cluster is probably a good thing though. At least he can't go BK! LOL!

    2. Old Frisch blocked me on the Facebook page for SBC and all I asked was an accounting of the Red China trip since the taxpayers apparently paid for it. He is such a weasel.

Also, while pointing out all his personal failures with his Passages restaurant and all the liens, tax and property, he decides to attack me for having a divorce. The guy is hopeless but funny in his own distorted way.
