Happy Fourth? What the hell happened last week?

Which direction is America heading?

This has been a tough few weeks for our Constitution.  We are celebrating the other document today, you remember, the Declaration of Independence.  I am sad we must disregard the Constitution today because it is being torn asunder by the last best hope we all relied on for its fulfillment.  The Supreme Court. 

The Declaration is more straightforward and even though it is not the "law" of the land, its words ring true for those that want America to last and be free from tyranny.  Roberts and the four unmovable liberals (they always stick to their guns unlike our side)  on the court have taken us down a path to ruin.  A law made from whole cloth (forcing Americans to buy a product we don't want).  They have changed the scope and size and intrusiveness into our individual lives as set forth in the Declaration and the Bill of Rights in the Constitution. The "Five"  bastardized our Founding documents last week and fundamentally changed our country with a ridiculous decision.

My hope is America will return to its senses and fix these attacks on its own people. So with great sadness, after 62 years on the planet and living on these shores of freedom, I am forced to be pessimistic about our country's future regarding its longevity.  I have always celebrated the Fourth but today I am in mourning.  America, please fight back and return our country to its original meanings in November.
