9/11 by Lunatic Liberal Paul Krugman

If there was any doubt at all why liberals like Paul Krugman should just shut their friggin mouths and not be seen or heard, read THIS. It is a typical liberal screed, hit and run, except it is on this day of remembrance and it is in the New York Times.  But, for me, if people want to see why liberals can't be trusted with te helm of the ship of state, this short little ditty tells all.

This is the same so-called expert "economist" who has recommended more debt, more spending and a total disregard of the present economic reality his ilk has foisted on America.  Now we get to read his crap about war and foreign policy.  By making the claims we should be ashamed for our responses to the unprovoked attack on our country by Islamic extremists shouting Allah Akbar, Krugman reveals his limited smarts regarding the goings on of the world and its daily struggles with bad people.  From his comfortable digs in the Big Apple or wherever he hides, he makes pronouncements of detached reality.  I call people like Krugman, "limousine liberals".  People of privilege who avoid the real responsibilities the massive middle class must meet every day.

So, when most Americans are remembering the atrocity of the 20 murdering scumbags of 3,000 of our citizens and our ultimate response to right the wrong, Krugman rears his ugly little head to trash those that took on the responsibility of going after the bad guys.  Thanks Krugman for once again allowing real Americans to see the utter lunacy of a liberal mind.

  1. The Krugman piece was exactly correct. Many of us are very happy there is someone telling the truth out there, whether or not its unpalatable to the warhawks in our midst.

So, just how are we going to "right the wrong" exactly Todd? Are we ahead in the "war on terror"? Whats the score in this war? Do we need to bomb more Islamic dominated countries in order to speed up this "victory"?

  2. Krugman is a lying fool and how the ignoramus ever got any awards is beyond me. No, we are not the ones who can call the war off. We are the recipients of war and have responded as we should have, with overwhelming force. Liberals will be beheaded just like conservatives if the war is lost. Liberals though will be trying to talk to them.

If we are attacked and our national interest and security is threatened, we must respond. You forget the Muslims have been at war with us since the mid 600's. They still have a slave trade in Africa for goodness sakes.

  3. Didn't forget anything. Ah, so its not a war against a country...its against a religion..I see, a religious war. Christian against the Islamics ha? If thats the case, the christian churches, many evangelicals in this country, should pony up most of the bucks for this "war". We don't have the money in Washington. I ain't a christian, a jew, or even religious, so why are my tax dollars being spent on adventures half way around the world? For you, its a 1500 year war for Righteousness and Goodness. So, you religious zealots pay for it then.

  4. You certainly have twisted logic into a unrecognizable screed. I was describing the Muslims and you twist it into Christian. Hmmm. I would think you may want to review your comments for veracity.

I do not like war but I believe we must defend ourselves. Liberals like yourself will lose your heads whether you are on the sidelines or in the battle. There is no sympathy from some people for your head remaining on your shoulders.

  5. The reality is that far right Christians are the most vocal advocates of continuing the "war against terror." Therefore makes total sense to bring hawkish Christians into the discussion.
Anyway, you haven't outlined your likely end-game result. Since we won't have the money or national will to continue an unending war, how will this war end?

  6. Do you have the Christians who are in charge identified? Give me some links of Christians who are preaching the war, that would certainly bolster your accusations. As far as the war ending, perhaps you should ask your Muslim friends since they are the ones keeping it going.

  7. Rob, In direct response to your question "how will this war end?". I won't accuse you of expecting anyone to predict the future with accuracy. I will illustrate your inability to understand and deal with reality by asking you to consider what the answer to your question would have been if asked of the Japanese, or for that matter, the American public prior to 1945.

  8. Ah, now its back to nation vs. nation again. So help me again - which countries we're fighting in the "war on terror"? Is it a 2011 "axis of evil"?

Or is it really a religious war? How will we win that one? Or is it a war on our western values? How do we win that one? Who do you shoot, and where do you find them?

    Just asking.

  10. No one can answer those questions; thats why they are being asked. No one can define the end game of the "war on terror" so why are we wasting hundreds of billions of dollars every year on overseas excursions? Tight homeland TERRORISM SECURITY measures-perfectly reasonable and necessary.

  11. Well try to answer the question. You seem like you are a smart guy. What would you do to end the war on terror?

  12. Retrain and reposition US forces to fight terrorist cells that are bent on attacking the United States and our interests abroad through small, well trained and highly skilled rapid deployment forces. Go get them when you find them, with a minimum of bragging and press, informing the appropriate congressional oversight committee's as we do it. We have about 2.25 million personnel in the active and reserve military, We could reduce that number by at least 500,000, primarily from the navy and air force, and still maintain a very strong conventional military. Divert some of the savings to building truly small, strong, well trained and rapid deployment capable national guard units in case we face a 'conventional' foe. Invest heavily in automated systems like unmanned aerial vehicles. Boost human intelligence in unfriendly states and areas of unfriendly states. Boost our coordination with the intelligence services of our allies, and with states who may be only allies in the war on terror. Invest heavily in non-carbon based fuels (the military is already starting to invest heavily here in biofuels and other technologies) so the American economy and security is not dependent on oil from the middle east, or Venezuela for that matter. Close US bases in Korea and Western Europe and make the Koreans and Japanese and NATO pay their own freight. Support the development of democratic movements in the middle east, support the liberal forces of the Arab Spring, to create a counter-balance against the conservative and jihadist forces. Re-commit to our security guarantee to Israel but make them sign a two-state solution with reasonable borders and sharing of resources with Palestine.

    That could be a start.

  13. Golly, we agree on most of the points but in all candor the USA is already doing most of what you listed. The closing of American bases around the world would be a good start. So you are Rob eh? I don't know who SF is.

  14. I would agree with almost all of Mr. San Francisco's commentary. We have got to get out of the endless money and death Pit that is Afghanistan. Orderly and quickly. Cut our losses. Save hundreds of billions to be put to work on American infrastructure projects and jobs. We have absolutely no luxury of a protracted conflict in deserts, caves and holes of ancient Afghanistan. That "war" is lost as far as we're concerned.
    Agree with RON PAUL 100%.
