School Shooters and more rants, as well as solutions!

What the hell is going on in the USA?   We have these young loony boys stealing dad's guns and heading to their schools to get even with those they have a grievance with.  Or they are a bit older and buy their own weapons.  But they wreak havoc and murder the innocent and we just don't understand any of this.  I say it is the culture and the way kids are raised.

When I was a kid in the 50's we watched Cheyenne, Bronco, Wanted Dead or Alive and Wells Fargo.  Mostly western genre.  And Even Disneyland and Davy Crockett.  Sure we were naive as our fathers and mothers had just saved the world from fascists a few years earlier.  And our parents wanted to make their families work and the country too.  So we got raised in an "Ozzie and Harriet" type culture.  Today the left makes fun of that but I don't recall one school shooting then.  The fifties were filled with carefree kids and up here in Nevada County we were all about carefree.

School here was a gathering place to make friends and learn.  When we were not in school we were exploring and hiking all over the county.  Fishing and hunting were a part of the culture.  Kids had the 30-06 on the rack in their trucks.  Parked at school.  No one even thought of shooting anything except maybe a deer in season.  And Nevada County was this way until the scourge of drugs came here in the late 60's. 

Something changed the way people were raising their kids and it was not good.  Parents read books that told them there are better ways to raise their kids and many took that advice and changed the relationship they had with their offspring.  They read Dr. Spock who convinced people that they should be "pals" with their ids and punishment for bad behavior should be treated with words and "timeouts".

Today we see the folly of those strategies where no consequences are meted out for bad behavior.  And over time we saw the politicians change the family dynamic.  It changed to accommodate the grievances of family disputes and placed the government in the mix.  Discipline your kids and CPS shows up to arrest you.  They are now the third adult family member and you better watch out.  They have been empowered to remove your kids from your home.  Of course, there are people that should never have a child and we see that all the time as well.  But those parents were never held accountable either so many of them don't know they are to be a parent and role model and not a "buddy".

Then, of course, we have drugs and other things like alcohol and marijuana.  Anything goes and even I sometimes have a problem with my inner libertarian about the use of personal choices.  For me, it is about abstinence.  I, of course, had cocktails and wine and sometimes a beer when I was younger.  Even today I will have a glass of wine or a rum and coke with a dinner.  But I never drank at home.  And I have kept a lid on any desire to over-indulge in alcohol.  I never did drugs thank goodness.  I was actually afraid to try them.  After Art Linkletter's daughter jumped off a building to her death, I said nope to the poisons.

Which brings me back to schools and these young men with the desire to kill.  I think we need to get the parents back in the loop.  You are the ones that raised these people and if they are 18 and under, you should be held responsible for their actions.  Bring back "guilt" and make people feel bad about their decisions.  Guilt is missing in our culture and to me, it is a mechanism that keeps people from doing bad things.  Public shaming perhaps?  We do it to our politicians when they are caught being bad.  Why not Joe and Jane and their kids?  And give the schools immunity to their discipline of out of control students.  I have friends that quit teaching elementary level kids.  They could not deal any longer with kids that screamed at them using obscenities and even violence.  The teacher is told to take it.  Well, who raised these brats?  Kick them out.  Stop dumbing down the whole class to accommodate these little scofflaws.

I recall in my youth there were some bullies in our classes.  They would pick on others they decided were weak.  Well a couple of times with me and guess what?  I had to fight.  I kicked their asses and they left me alone after that.  Sometimes you have to do the discipline yourself rather than relying on CPS and the Sheriff.  But really, the problem is the parenting of these people.  I knew many parents that allowed their kids to drink underage.  As long as they drank at home!  And these parents would smoke marijuana with their kids too.  What the hell is that all about?  So the kids grow up and become out of control adults with bad habits.  Those parents should be ashamed of themselves.

If you want to stop school shooters it seems to me these kids and young adults give us plenty of warnings.  But that government official seems to always misread the kid and we have a mass shooting.  Parents and teachers and others need to be empowered to take these kids and fix them.  If that means "juvy hall" then so be it.  But unfortunately, until we stop coddling these kids and trying to make them our "friends" we will see more of this behavior.

I am a supporter of the death penalty and the local pillory in the city center.  Punish these people so they don't forget why they are on display in front of city hall.  And make them think deeply about why they are on the electric chair.  But until we change the culture and rein in the trial lawyers and bleeding hearts we will not fix the problem

Red Wave coming! Why America will reject the democrats this November

Are we all sick and tired of the contrived "blue wave" yapping by the left in our country?  I am.  And of course, the media, all lefty all the time, (well except for a couple of stations), parrots the democrat talking points every day.  Yesterday they actually were parroting Nancy Pelosi when she said she is going to raise Americans taxes!  My guess is the media agrees with that and found nothing wrong with her position.  But her statement is an opening for the right, one that Republicans and conservatives, can drive a truck through.  There are so many outrages stated by the left I am surprised they are not all in therapy.

Polls show the media is 91% negative on President Trump.  What they don't understand that we older folks do is this, people like the underdog.  And the media is making Trump the underdog.  And those that support him as well.  Trump is a common-sense man if anything.  Sure he has a naughty side from his lifestyle over the years and you would think the secular media would love that.  But somehow the media cranks have decided that their lifestyles are now more moral and ethical and it is simply untrue.  The "anything goes" media and secular people of America now have morals?  Sorry, not buying it .  But as we see, Trump has turned them into slobbering and babbling morons.  We know the press loves Harvey Weinstein and Anthony Weiner and Bill Clinton.  And they do because they told us so over the years.  Those men were loved and forgiven for all their sins because they were for abortion.

If someone is for abortion, the left will allow you to be a ax murderer as long as you don't get in the way of abortion at any stage of a pregnancy.  Trump came out against abortion on demand and look at his treatment.  They hate his guts.  And those people in middle America are derided too.  But now we see abortion is not the only thing these secularists believe in.  They oppose the death penalty, they are for open borders or no borders.  They are for a multitude of genders while we all know there are only two.  They are attacking free speech at all levels of the education process.  Except for their free speech of course.  And they perpetrate violence against those they disagree with.  Mainly conservatives like Ann Coulter Ben Shapiro and Milo.

When my father came back from World War Two after saving the planet from fascism, he was proud of the fact the sacrifices by all those that fought saved the precious freedoms of America.  He was proud to be American.  Now we see our country and values trashed and the "Forefathers" demeaned as illegitimate to follow.  Somehow the past is dictating the present for the secular left.  But the past was something in the past.  We on the right are about the future and we learned from our mistakes.  The left wants to wallow in the mistakes.  They cannot seem to move on.  Sure, we had slavery and it was terrible of course.  But our country fought a war 160 years ago to rid the crime from the country.  But the left still whines and cries about "institutional" racism and can't seem to move along.

Everything is viewed through the prism of racial justice in their lives.  Rather than expending their energy to make their lives better (and living here they have a huge head start), these liberals are all about punishing the "white folks" for those past sins.  They would rather "take" what the white folks have and distribute it to others.  Whether a person of another color or gender.  All those white males need to be punished for the sins of the great great grandfathers.  All this is building up resentment and phony expectations by those that want free stuff.

America is about the future.  People need that lesson about pulling oneself up by their bootstraps.  After all, human dignity comes from personal accomplishment.  We can decide if we want to simply try and take from those that succeed or do something for ourselves that has meaning for our dignity.  The secular left roams the streets of America most every week to protest some slight or perceived injustice.  But the doers of the country are getting fed up.  We spend trillions of dollars every year to make the country work and yet that is not enough for Nancy Pelosi and the left/democrats.  They want new age slaves.  All those that work hard and play by the rules and pay their taxes and fees need to be punished with higher taxes and fees.  It is a socialist control mechanism.

All these leftwing outrages are having a cumulative effect in my view.  Americans are getting fed up.  They showed it in 2016 when they elected Trump.  The politicians are perceived as wimps and mealy-mouths.  The people wanted someone with the "edge".  Trump fit the bill at the right time.  Sure, he says things that are outrageous at times.  But he is the most transparent politician in my lifetime.  He tweets all the time and I enjoy them.  It is from his mind to the tweet to our eyes.  That, of course, makes politicians mad as they want to keep us "fooled".  After all my research and watching the polls and the special elections across the country, I project the "red wave" will sweep America.  We are looking for the people that will get things done and respect the people.  The democrats just mouth their allegiance to the people while picking our pockets and kneeling for the National Anthem.

America is changing for the better.  We need more people that will stand up to the bullies of the democrats/left.  Speak out and make sure your community knows there are people that will not be cowed by them.  Common sense and responsible men and women will soon be coming to an elected office near you.  The "red wave" will sweep out the socialist and put good people in their place.

Common Sense is peeking its head out from behind the curtains

Just when most of us were trying to understand how a "Russian Collusion" investigation from the 2016 election turned into a decades old claim that a member of the Trump organization had some ties to a Ukrainian political party, a East coast judge tossed a zinger into the prosecutors works.  This Judge actually asked the questions and made the observations many of us have been asking and debating for a year or more.  What the hell does Paul Manifort's ties to a Ukrainian political party in 2006 have to do with Trump?  Of course we know the answer is nothing.  The Mueller team of Stasi agents know it too.  The goal is to pressure Manifort and force him to give them some dirt on Trump.  But there is no there there.  We all know it.  Look at what Mueller's thugs have done to General Michael Flynn.  They bankrupted him. Later they said he did not lie!  Sure he apparently had some income from the Turkish government that he failed to get a license for, but to send him into bankruptcy and lose his home and other things to try and force him to confess to something he did not do?

And I watched a Mr. Caputo on Cavuto today and he faced the same Gestapo tactics as Flynn and Manifort.  He was pouring money into legal fees to defend himself.  He almost went BK as well.  But he started a GOFUNDME and raised over $250,000 in 12 days from over 5100 people.  Now he has some room to tell the Mueller thugs to go to hell.  The tactics of Mueller and his democrat lawyers, most of whom were Hillary supporters and donors, are not American in my opinion.  Assistant AG Rosenstein hired Mueller and gave him marching orders to find "collusion" by the Trump campaign with the Russians.  Of course collusion is not a crime and after almost two years, none has been found.  My understanding of the Special Counsel's law is they are only created if a CRIME is alleged.,  But that is not what Rosenstein put into the marching orders.  So this is a good old communist tactic used by the first KGB guy, Beria.  "Give me the man and I will find the crime".  That was Beria's trademark phrase.

But we see this Judge Ellis in Virginia state the obvious this week.  This Mueller/Rosenstein "witch-hunt" must end.  It has nothing, will find nothing and only hurts the country.  I have tweeted to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that he should "un-recuse" himself and put a stop to this travesty of American "justice".  The American people deserve better.  Sessions is doing a great job on gangs and illegal immigration.  He s also stopping the suits created in the Obama era against faith based people and organizations.  He is bringing common sense back into play.  That is why he has to stop this "witch-hunt" about the Rooskies.

I am heartened as well watching the blow-back from common sense people in our country as they confront the PC crap the left is and has been dishing out.  Our culture cannot stand for long if it gets diluted to a nothing.  And thanks to the in Internet and its many news sources we get to see and read about these ridiculous attempts to undermine out culture and country.  Just yesterday I saw where the EEOC of the feds is attempting to force a Savemart in San Diego to allow people to speak another language in their employ.  Say what?  The EEOC needs to go.  It interferes in too many lives and businesses.  And in a free country if I want my employees to speak only English then that is my call.  Not some bureaucrats from DC!  So hopefully Trump will demolish the EEOC along with many more of these PC bastions of unAmerican rules.

I also just read in the SacBee today on page 2B that a Judge will allow the prosecution of three people, one of whom is Yvonne Felarca, to proceed.  She is famous for attacking people she disagrees with with her form of violence.  She is a "antifa" and I saw her in Berkley early in 2017 at a free speech rally.  She tried to kick a man in the balls and she got knocked out for her troubles.  There was a video of her assault that went viral.  Of course it was doctored to make one think the guy just punched her out. But the truth was she attacked him.  All he was doing was marching for free speech and American freedom.  Anyway, she and her two pals were filmed slicing and dicing about ten people in Sacramento in 2016 and now they will face the music.  Felarca is a elementary school teacher as I recall.

America seems to be doing real well economically and today we see the unemployment rate down to 3.9%.  The lowest in 40 years or so.  Some experts say it will drop to 3.8% which is the same as in LBJ's term in 1964.  But of course the SacBee writers on the economy have to try their best to dampen the good news since it is a good reflection on Trump.  Wages have been inching up but not fast enough for the SacBee.  And the Tax Reform bill just isn't helping people they say as was promised.  I say hogwash.  It looks to me the middle class is getting more dough in their checks and the businesses of America are expanding and using the money they are saving for purchases and wages.  But if it deemed to help Trump the press just can't hack it.  They dampen all the good news and enhance all the bad.  They are headed for the dustbin and that makes me really sad.  But their demise is suicide in my view.  They could write the news to be far and balanced but they just can't help themselves.  All trained in liberal arts colleges by leftwing professors.  America loses.

Rants for April 15, 2018

Tax day for Americans and look what else we get.  A four trillion dollar spending spree by the feds with an income of 3 trillion.  What the heck?  Add the state and local and special district amounts and Americans are now serfs.  And the bottom earners, those benefitting from the top earners, pay zilch into the federal system.  Yet they receive the protection of the military and many get a handout from the government.  Something is amiss. 

The dmocrats say the tax reform bill benefitted the rich in America.  Well duh!  They pay the bulk of the taxes.  And the poor who don't pay any only gets what they get as the government redistributes.  How can a poor person bitch that somehow those "rich" people get their money at the expense of those poor people?  I mean, does that poor person send their taxes they don't pay to those rich people?  Common sense is not a democrat operative's strong point I guess.  I truly would like them to explain how a rich person gets richer by exploiting a poor person.  Does the poor guy hire the rich guy?  No, it is the other way around.  And why is fiscal success so bad?  In America, the capitalist system enables all of us to gain financial success.  But you have to take advantage of that free education those rich people supply.  And you have to stay in the school system and get a degree or a trade.  But no, these whiners about the rich just want a handout as they sit on the couch eating bonbons and popping out kids with no family man in tow.  I say all Americans need skin in the game.  All should contribute to the budget.  Maybe the scofflaws at the trough would change their minds about balanced budgets if they had to pay to play.

We lost a couple of young men this last week to a drunk driving woman and the community is distraught.  I too am so saddened.  Yet the system almost failed justice when the drunken woman was allowed a low bail and left the jail.  But someone was paying attention and said WAIT!  She killed two people with her car and the bail should be much more.  I asked a question on the Union.com's website comment stream on this article.  I said does anyone know if she is a citizen?  It has been common knowledge that a lot of od crime and other disasters are being perpetrated by illegals.  Well, no response on my question except some woman who called me a racist prick for asking the question.  Checking her Facebook link that woman might be illegal herself.  Anyway, I don't care that some babe called me a name.  I like to question and perhaps she will rethink her attack.

Then we have the ridiculous article by a Dale Berkheimer in the Union yesterday.  His whole schtick is the Republicans will lose the Congress and he listed all the reasons how that will come about.  Of course, I cannot let the propaganda from the left be unanswered.  I said, in my opinion, it is way to early to project a democrat takeover and November is way down the road p[olitically.  Politics is a fast-changing thing and a lot can happen in a short period of time.  Plus these democrats think Americans don't know they got some tax reform and more money in their checks?  And that Trump's deregulations are spurring the economy and employment to levels not seen in decades?  Do these democrats really believe the talking points spewed out every day by their masters?  Apparently.  I do my best to analyze the news and the trends but honestly, there is no way I see a democrat wave.  The democrats think Trump will make it happen for them.  But I say the "Economy" is the test.

We all got to watch Mark Zuckerberg testify in Congress this week.  Millions if not billions of people use his baby, Facebook? and so do I.  I use it for simply staying in touch with family and friends.  I resist putting too much private info on the page.  But the questioning of Zman by the Congress was pretty funny.  They don't have a clue about how things work yet they want to regulate it.  Zman got in trouble last year when it became known that Facebook was excising conservative news and embellishing liberal and democrat news on its site.  And then it got outed for helping Obama and the democrats in 2012 allowing them to data mine.  Oops, then a Republican did the same thing in 2016 and all hell broke loose.  Democrats are now PO'd at Zman for not controlling the data mining that Trump's side did.  Oh my, goose meet gander.  So when a democrat does it all good.  No problem.  Republicans!  Oh my, regulate.  I say keep the government out of the internet and let it be free of regulation.  If people don't like Zman's politics, join another site.

Today's SacBee has a story on page 1B about a Hmong family from Sacramento.  The parents arrived here after the fall of Laos in 1975.  They were helpers to the Americans during the war and the commies would have killed them for sure.  They came to this country with nothing.  The article explains how they succeeded in achieving the American Dream.  They had ten kids and all have become true successes.  Cops, accountants, nurses and one lawyer.  And these people could not even speak the language.  Their kids are now in the mainstream and I must say they are a perfect example of what people can achieve if they try in our system.  The movie "Gran Torino" is one I recommend to see these fine people.

I found the antithesis of the Hmong success story on page 2D by lawyer/professor Erwin Cherminsky.  He teaches at Berkely I believe.  Anyway, he cries the blues that minorities, blacks, and Hispanics, are doing terrible and MLK would not be happy.  But wait, he leaves out those successful ASIANS in his diatribe against his fellow Caucasians.  I don't understand why he would do that?  Maybe a liberal guilt trip?  These leftwing liberals are all so filled with "white privilege" guilt they just can't accept that people make their own way.  And some fail.  Asians seem to have it right.  Tight family values, push to educate their kids, work and sacrifice to make that all happen.  And yes, they are the biggest earners and successful group in America!  Maybe the others need to emulate them?

Liberalism makes all things bassackwards in life

What a week we have been seeing in America.  As I read the newspaper and watch the news on TV and cable I just can' hardly believe what I see and hear.  And the news is supposedly being reported by people with a brain.  Doesn't seem to be in my view.  And whoever writes the words for these vocal transcribers must be totally devoid of common sense (even local KCRA).  Mainly I have seen the folks outraged at people using their free speech to confront liars and charlatans (liberals) and then having the press defend the charlatans!  I guess emotions trump common sense now in our once great country.

Laura Ingraham of FOX News spoke about the inability of that kid from Parkland getting into a college.  Of course the kid is the darling of the media and is praised as a survivor of that terrible shooting spree.  And this kid gets to trash conservatives as well as gun owners and he is a hero to the media types.  He says the vilest nastiest crap and uses profanity at will.  All good according to the media.  And we are all supposed to praise and cajole him.  Show him deference for his sacrifices.  And give him the benefit of the doubt for his veracity even though he does not have but 17 years under his belt.  And if you criticize him you are subjected to ridicule and you may lose your job.

So this kid gets his free speech but when challenged he cries like a baby and gets like minded liberals to boycott those that may have some problems with the things he says and does.  His goal is to shut up the opposition rather than engage in debate (Alinsky).  And that is what the left does.  They do it at all levels, even here in little Nevada County, California.  These lovelies can't sustain a debate for long.  And when they see you won't back down they cry and withdraw.  They call you names.  The left is bereft of ideas on how to fix anything!  But they CARE!  Sure they do.  We on the right are told we are such meanies and don't deserve to speak.  But many like me say we will not be silenced.  Apparently this kid got 11 advertisers to drop Ingraham.  Well I will boycott them!

Yesterday President Trump told the democrats and the world to hell with them and their playing the DACA card.  He wants to solve the issue and he even offered to give these people a path to citizenship.  Also he added another million to the mix.  But as usual the democrats want to play politics with the very people they have been telling us they care more about.  Pretty transparent I'd say.  The democrats don't give a rat's ass about anything except power and votes.  That is why democrat Brad Sherman stated this weekend on a news program he favors illegal immigrants to be counted in the census.  My guess is if they are and then not allowed to vote Sherman's majority will shrink way down.  Probably the same across the state.  Maybe those  four million Hillary majority votes were illegals?

I have listened all my life to the left tell us the Constitution is just a piece of paper and should be updated to the times.  But like the Bible, human nature is really no different now than 3,000 years ago.  Or 240 years ago.  What changes is lazy people's desire too make lazy a set of laws.  If ou don't like something, say, your neighbors speech, make a law to shut him up.  Or take his self protection tools.  Or his family members.  Just like the left admires Kim Jong Un and his ilk because down deep the left is all about telling others what to do.  And controlling them and their actions.  All the while taking their property for the state to redistribute to others.

We on the right are constantly battling these forces of evil.  Yes I said evil. We must protect the things that work for a better society.  Sometimes that is hard to do and maintain.  But it must be done.  Of course we are called neanderthals and stodgy and other less than nice names.  The left is good at personal attacks.  And with their compliant press the left gets the bulk of the media to brainwash people and kids.  And with the lefts ownership of academia and the culture we see the results in that Hogg kid and his compatriots.  Of course we all feel terrible about the killings and we wish to fix the problem.  But the left wants to remove some rights to fix other rights.  This is a slippery slope and America cannot last if these people prevail.
