2017 done, on to 2018!

I won't bore you with a compilation of things that took place in 2017.  Most mainstream news and entertainment shows will do that.  My thoughts are a bit different from the year just passed.  After two previous years of almost full-time political campaigning, Donald Trump became the President of our great country.  And right away we saw the media and entertainment industries and all their employees trying to take him out.  We got to see the desperation of the left in America when they don't get their way.  We saw the muscle of "middle" Americans as they put Mr. Trump over the top.  I love it!

Of course, the Executive branch is one-third of the government and most of the employees.  I had hoped President Trump would be cleaning the swamp right away and he has tried.  Yet the democrats in the Senate are slow-walking his picks for many of the ten thousand appointees.  It has bogged down some parts.  But there are many picks that have heartened me.  He is dismantling the gears for the hoax of "global warming".  Drying up the grants and removing their propaganda from websites.  Oh, my the orthodox hoaxsters are apoplectic.

He has decided the Antiquities Act was abused by past Presidents and is reversing some of the decisions.  States now get to decide or at least have a say when the Feds want to lock up their lands for only viewing.  Natural resources make a country great and he is all about that.  Of course, immigration, legal and illegal has been in turmoil as Trump tries to bring common sense into the equation.  "Chain migrations" and "lotteries" to bring people here are now on hold.  Travel restrictions allowed to be made under the law are in force.  The left and their lackey Judges tried to defeat Trump on the travel bans but as we have seen the Supreme Court say he has the legal and constitutional right to do as he did.  Of course the leftwing and their judges keep at it but I would hope the SCOTUS would sanction those charlatans.

Trump loves to tweet every day as well.  I enjoy those tweets and to me, it makes him the most transparent President ever.  The media hate it as do the left and democrats.  But if he did not tweet they would call him Obama, the least transparent, and most secretive President in my lifetime.  Can't win with the "haters" of the left.  Since I am a follower on Twitter I tweet responses and ideas to him and others on my list.  They probably never see them but it makes me feel better to get some ideas out there just in case.

 We get to see the "fake news" media put the big old foot in their mouths almost daily.  Lots of minuscule corrections on page two bottom, small font.  And those are the corrections of Page One above the fold huge Font headlines.  But most of us on the right know what is going on.  We have alternative news sources and those all came into prominence this last year.  We are sick and tired of the bias left.  We are mocked and made fun of for being plain old Americans and in the flyover country.  But it looks like Trump's victory made them look the fools as far as I can tell.

Of course, the left and the democrats are doing their best to keep the "Russian collusion" allegations on the front burner.  We all know that is a hoax and we all know the democrats and Hillary Clinton paid 11 million to some shady characters to create the "dossier" of fakeness on Trump.  Yet for some reason, this phony story is kept alive by Robert Mueller of the Special Counsel.  He has secured two guilty pleas on unrelated issues but still won't admit there is no there there.  Plus all the people he hired were either Hillary donors and/or supporters.  You must stop the biased investigation and call it quits.  It is not good for America to keep things boiling.

Then close to the end of the year we see all the allegations about sexual harassment by men against women.  And it is widespread as many women have come forward on allegations from up to forty years ago.  And we see the results which prove that we have no "innocent until proven guilty" in America if it has to do with sexual issues.  I actually think ASenator l Franken should not resign.  And I am happy that Judge Roy Moore was defeated but for reasons other than allegations of harassment.  Until people weary of this tactic it will continue.  Kind of reminds me of the "daycare" molestation hysteria of the early 1980's.  Many people went to jail and some committed suicide after allegations then convictions.  And many years later saw a reversal as the children came forward and said they were coaxed to lie.

Last we saw the passage of the tax reform bill and that sure has set the left off.  They know it will be their demise for opposing this middle-class reform.  Corporate money parked overseas may come back in piles.  I hope so.  But even without all that, the positive attitude exuded by Trump has helped the economy a lot.  Obama was a downer and Trump is an upper. 

Democrats and the left with their lackey media cannot see the forest for the trees in regards to Trump and the big picture.  He is lightyears ahead of them in strategy and thought.  They do their best to claim he is a dumbass while he chuckles in the Oval Office.  He did not become a successful man by being stupid.  But these four-year "rhetoric" champs from a "journalism" school think they are smarter.  Hell, my six-year-old granddaughter is smarter than most journalists.  I for one saw eight years of kissing Obama's ass by these same idiots writing derogatory articles about Trump and his diet cokes, big Macs and any other inane things they can conjure up.

My lessons for 2017 are quite simple.  Don't believe a single thing the mainstream media writes and says about the Trump family and Administration.  Listen maybe to FOX and talk radio where a free exchange of ideas take place almost daily.  And there are plenty of alternative news sources that we can find on the internet.  If anything, the mainstream media needs to go to rehab to learn how to be fair and balanced.  Otherwise, they will become the dinosaurs.

Sexual Rants before Christmas 2017!

What a month already!  Women are coming out of the woodwork to accuse "powerful" men of sexual abuse and harassment.  And now it appears we have men turning on women for the same thing.  Probability some men turning on men and women turning on women too.  And some transgenders are turning on both sexes as well.  Do we have a score card?

I guess in my 67 years having people tell me women are these little helpless things was a hidden fact.  Most of the women I know are tough cookies.  And having been a single man in my life, I have watched and listened to women put male dolts in their place a few times.  Women in my opinion are not helpless.  They run companies, homes, families and anything else they want to run.  But now we see those "feminists" telling us all that they are "snowflakes".  Sorry, not selling.

These feminists think humans who interact with each other every day of their lives can be hornswoggled by these feminist tenets.  My goodness we males have been bashed all my life by these feminists.  They call us every name they can come up with to denigrate us.  Yet somehow they still are drawn to the "romance" of life and a mate for the most part.  Why?  Because it is natural and you cannot change human interactions of thousands of years in one generation. 

I know of no man that could run a household with kids as a single parent as well as a woman can.  It is a huge responsibility.  Men are not up to the task.  Women by nature are the nourishers, men are something else.  Can you even imagine the minute by minute life of a single mom?  Even a married mom?  No man can do that.  But for some reason the liberals and the feminists call these women "helpless".  Sorry, does not wash with me.  I remember in the early days of feminism that these women started trying to change the simplest of "rules" we males were instilled with.  Like opening the door for a women and holding it open until they passed through.  Or a car door.  I was chastised by a woman when I did that simple courtesy once.  What the heck?

But now we see the criminalizing of sexual activities between men and women.  Flirting is now a crime in the eyes of some.   How the heck are we supposed to get together if we have this wall up?  And now with 67 genders it is truly more complicated than ever.  Ad don't call someone by a gender they dislike or you may be arrested here in California.  Lunacy!  But we must all stop and take a deep breath.  If we criminalize flirting or hugging or whatever used to be fine interactive things we did, then look out.  What was once a way to get "justice" with a wolf might get you arrested for a "eye batting" or show of cleavage.  I kid you not, the zaniest things between the genders will become a crime and we all lose.

I think Americans are tiring of all this negative crap pushed on us by the left/democrats/media and there will be a backlash.  91% of the lamestream media reporting on President Trump has been negative.  Even though there have been many things positive, the left and their mouthpieces push negative.  But human nature will prevail and I think it is already doing so.  People like a positive message from time to time.  That is what Trump tries.  He uses positive words all the time to convey his favor.  As a businessman, he knows he would be unable to sell anything if he was negative or whining all the time.  The tactic is all democrat policy and portrayal.  Nothing good to get behind.  Always bashing.   The tax reform measure is the latest.  Rather than supply ONE vote to help give the country's middle class a break, the democrats trash everything.

All the important differences between the party's is right there for all to see.  All negative from the democrats.  From all over America the democrats come to voice their negativity on all the issues.  My guess is they have never met a payroll but they know better than the employers what is best for the employees.  We need to stop sending lawyers to Washington DC and get more "real world" people there.  Common sense is missing on the left.  And that won't wash n a dangerous and complex world.  Plus most of these lefty types seem to be wusses.  Oh my, he/she said I was thus and such.  Pass a law to keep them away and silenced.  We see that all over the campuses of our colleges and down to the Valedictorians at High School graduation ceremonies.  Can't say America is great!  Or thank Jesus.  You may be expelled.

America is coming back into full power.  It was on first gear or less under Obama.  Now it is picking up steam and seems to me to be in third gear.  The business of America is business and along with our Constitution and capitalism those have been the motors driving the planet.  People want to be a success.  Who the hell wants to be the "successful" drug dealer or "welfare" recipient?  Not too many.  Life out of the cave has been a long hard time.  But now the left is all about going back and living in that cave.  It is really dicey right now but I think the American people will not want to return to the "good ol' days" of cave living. We like that microwave and internet.

My goodness, a past President goes on stage and disses the replacement?  What the hell?  Until Clinton started dissing Bush in the early 2000's, it was protocol to shut one's pie hole as the people have spoken.  But democrat always break their own rules as they claim some sort of superiority over the rest of us.  HERE is a article on his speech.

 America has been adjusting to Trump since the election last year.  We have never had a plain-speaking man with a business background.  We have been accustomed to the slick talkers, the politicians like Obama and Bill Clinton.  They sure spoke pretty but were skin deep people.  Trump seems to be making his mark as he relates to the common people.  A populist.  Sure he is a billionaire but he is steeped in real property issues.  And anyone in that business knows you have to be real.  If you aren't you will become a pauper in no time.  And he is kind of a rascal.  But I think Americans like rascals.  The left cites his polls numbers but to me, that is only one indicator of Trump's life.

People can dislike the person but if they are doing the job they will give that person a wide break.  With the country starting to hum again after getting Obama off the palate, Americans are feeling much better about themselves, the economy and the country.  The naysayers and Trump haters are screeching all the time and people have to filter their fake news out in order to even get a proper view of the reality.

If the US Senate can get some things done then I bet we will see some momentous growth and opportunity.  The House has sent a lot of bills over to the Senate but for some reason, the archaic rules keep many things on a slow walk.  This is not good.  The people of America want action and if the Senate sits on its hands Trump will take it on.  In some ways, it has already happened with his "Executive Orders" to rid the country of unwanted regulations and ridiculous rules.  Trump's returning Utah's lands to the state are the latest thing.  The minerals and other resources there will benefit the country and removing the abused "Antiquities Act" designation will do that.

But look at the economy.  It is steaming ahead as people are now optimistic about things.  Obama spent trillions of dollars and achieved very little.  Trump won't even hire to fill vacancies in the White House as he wants to save the money.  A way different approach.  Even Melanie is down to six employees where Michelle Obama had 26!.  These are the things that send signals to the people a man is concerned about them and their money.

If we can get the tax reform done Americans at all levels, especially the middle class will see more of their own money stay in their pockets.  And now we see the disarray of the democrats in their "sex scandals".  Al Franken of Minnesota says he will resign in a few weeks.  His fellow democrats turned on him as a sexual predator.  These same democrats are now trying to gain some creds with saying Bill Clinton should have resigned 20 years ago!  Please, what a transparent look at the vacuous minds of a democrat.

Somehow the water in the democrat canteens must be tainted.  Obama and the others are hysterical about Trump.  Calling him akin to Hitler!  What a terrible thing to say to the 62 million Americans that voted for him!  Obama should shut his mouth and return to the streets of Chicago.  America is moving forward in spite of the Luddites we know as democrats.

Last night I watched a panel of speakers on CSPAN.  It was led by Tom Steyer, a billionaire Hedge Fund guy.  He is the one that promised 100 million dollars to the democrats if they would support his"climate change" agenda.  The panel was to announce their desire to impeach Trump.  I listened to these loons and concluded they are all one can short of a six-pack.  Steyer had the look of a mentally ill person in his eyes.  I have seen that stare in sociopaths on ID TV!  Anyway, there may have been five people in attendance and they were all media.  And even they were skeptical.  And rightly so.  The panel looked like normal folks (except for Steyer) yet what came out of their mouths was pure drivel.  These are the educated people?  Anyway, their attempts will go nowhere as we saw yesterday when the loony democrat fringe in the House got their ass handed to them on their Impeachment Resolution.  Something like 325 to 58 or so.  Just more theater from the left.  My goodness if they spent their energy trying to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN the country would be way better off.

Let's defeat the taxman this year!

Have you ever seen a democrat want to lower your taxes?  Never in my lifetime have I seen or heard that.  Yet these same democrats now think they can convince the American people they are against raising taxes!  But we know.  And the Republicans are trying their best to get some reason into the tax code and give the hard-working middle class a break.  Afterall it is our money, right?  We earn it.  And it does not belong to the government.  That is the difference between a democrat and a Republican.  The democrats think all money is the governments.  They think the laws they pass on taxes is the right of the government to take your money.  Republicans are a reverse of that.  The money is yours.

But no matter what the Republicans do or say, the timeworn mantra of the democrats is always class warfare.  Envy drives the left.  Tax reform is only going to benefit the "rich" they say.  They always say that.  It is ridiculous.  Just like California, the tax system is dependent on those that are "rich" and the rest of the folks get a free pass on most of the confiscation of their money.  At the federal level, the top 10% of the taxpayers pay 70% of all taxes.  Same in California at the state level.  How is that fair?  And why should those that pay the bulk of the taxes not get a break anyway? Cut spending!

Some say we may see a vote today from the US Senate on the bill.  If we get all the R's to say yes the vote will be 52-48.  And the two leftwingnuts called "independents" will be part of the NO. Not one democrat wants to help the middle-class workers of America keep their own money.  These leftwing democrats have moved so close to communist thinking it is truly scary.  They used to worry and fight for the middle class.  Now they have abandoned them altogether.  They represent the poor, uneducated and illegal apparently.  To hell with the middle class of America.  So maybe this is a good thing.  The middle class can give the democrats the middle finger and get on the Patriotic Train of the "right".

Let us see how it goes today.  Maybe there will be an epiphany by the hardworking middle class that the Republicans have their back.  I hope so.  I have fought against overreaching government all my life and it sure would be nice to have some help.  By rejecting the middle class, the democrats have opened a huge opportunity to make the Republicans the party in power for another full generation.
