Eco Extremist have a new target, plastic in the ocean!

I get the Sunday Sacramento Bee to make my week of newspapers complete.  I had stopped subscribing twenty years ago when I got fed up with their leftwing agenda and biased reporting.  They never saw a conservative worthy of praise and a environmental position too extreme to not support.  So I dropped them.  Last year I thought I needed to start reading the opposition again and I was not disappointed.  They are as goofy at the Bee as they always had been.

Today there was a article (HERE) and (HERE) on the report from some loony lefty eco organization.  It was presented in Davos, Switzerland and now it is in all the papers.  I read it and was as usual not disappointed in the eco nutty conclusions.  The "studies" conclusion's were apocalypse as all these screamers on the eco left are.  How many ways to kill the earth?  Let me count them!

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation report was so full of "maybes" and end runs around real science that it is laughable.  More plastic in the oceans of the world than the weight of all fish?  Really?  Maybe Ellen needs to fund garbage pickup ships with Waste Management and go get all that plastic.  We could recycle it and supply the worlds people with plastic chairs for their decks!  Read the "conclusions" and if you start laughing and can't stop I understand.  All this by 2050 too!

These kinds of ridiculous "reports" are why the people of the planet, (except eco nuts and politicians) dismiss them.  One earth ending as we know it problem after another.  All to gain grant money which the eco's get from their political tools who rob the treasury.  Global warming is now at the bottom of the list of concerns by humans yet there is so much money to make for the "hoaxers" the politicians keep it alive.  All those kickback dollars are to hard to give up.

So here we go again, another story of "made from whole cloth"to agitate the dumb and the lefty political class who can convince those dumb people this is real.  Thank goodness, I thought the oceans were too acidic now.  Oh, that turns out to be a lie too. So with bogus reports full of mediocre scientific conclusions, we are all going to have to debunk them once again.

Hang on to your wallets with both hands as the scare mongers are out to get your money to "equalize" successful outcomes on planet earth.

    1. Not my point. Of course I am as concerned about trash as anyone. The point they are making is the trash weight will be greater than all the fish in the ocean by2050.

  2. Yeah, I like it better when there is trash floating around in the ocean. Makes me feel like we are "retaking it from nature". From now on, I am going to throw my trash in the ocean instead of in the dump! Take that LIBS!

    1. Not my point. I am a fastidious Yankee and dislike trash tossed into the environment. The point is the bogus science the eco nuts are passing off to the sheeple who believe all they say without question. Are you a sheeple?

    2. No, I'm not sheeple. I have a high school degree, but like pretending that I have more knowledge than PhD's! Stupid LIBs love education! Let's stop education in the US all together!

    4. The most hated unemployed journalist fue has nothing new to say and no one cares anyway about his repetitive droning. A week of purple hippo poop posts and 2 people post. Not even 1 response to the too predictable Boardman rant. What the matter scoopy? That's no way to become an award winning journalist other than in your own mind! ROFLOL

  3. The homosexual perv that keeps sending me comments must be really mentally deranged. Hide the kids the perv is around. I imagine he is really lacking in equipment and posting his trash must be his fun stuff. What a joke.

    4. Let Frisch write a grant proposal for some muscle, it would be a good chance for him to hire a black person for a change.

"Oh, no, Todd — Contractors PAC endorses someone else!

I did not read this on the parody “Draft Todd Juvinall for Supervisor” Facebook page, but I did notice The Union dutifully ran a press release on Page 3 that it was given by the Contractors Association PAC that it was going to endorse Duane Strawser for District 1 Supervisor.

I viewed this endorsement as more of an “anti-Heidi Hall” statement — we’re going to get A LOT of that kind of this election season. (Remember the Jim Firth runs for Grass Valley City Council?) Duane is more conservative than Heidi.

(I did not see the endorsement on YubaNet, KVMR News or Facebook, which are drawing more and more of a local audience compared with The Union in this “new media” era). But the Contractors PAC is “old school.” It sticks with The Union — and the newspaper’s aging, declining demographics.

Losing this possible endorsement from the Contractors PAC is a big setback for loud Todd, an “inactive contractor” and “good old boy,” who has mused out loud: “Nate Beason is retiring. The rest of you hear this, I may run!”

This sparked the parody page “Draft Todd Juvinall for Supervisor” on Facebook. I don’t know who is behind it, but “It’s a hoot!” as Todd would say.

Of course, nobody took Todd seriously that he might “rune” (sic) for Supervisor — except for himself. Even the Contractors Association PAC knew better.

    1. Thanks fish. March 11 is coming. I think it may be five days later since Nate is not running.

The bigboy FUE is scooping even me about the race I may join. He apparently has no other info than the press release in the Union anyway so his scoop is truly only in his own noggin. This is so fun!
